Enable Video Chat over 3G/4G

Was great on GB. Ever since 4.x, like others reported, every now and then the setting is lost and you have to reapply it. Looks like this project is abandoned. No updates or commits in over 6 months.

Does exactly what it says and even lets me video chat using the new Google+ Hangouts app that just replaced Google Talk.

I can't get root access with Jelly Bean 4.2. Would be cool if it worked, seems like it does for some people. But JB has broken things since released, so this doesn't surprise me. Hope for an update.

(Make sure your phone is rooted beforehand to use this app) I was able to successfully enable Google hangouts video chat with ease. It's simple and useful. You don't have to go through the hassle of going through rooted files and changing its format. This app does everything for you within 2-3 steps.

New clean interface in the latest update. Those complaining about the fact that the settings change isn't permanent, go change your review. As of the last update, this app is perfect.

Worked fine on my AT&T S3 running CM10.2 nightlies. Simple app, simple setup, no issues. Don't give bad reviews if you don't know what root is and shouldn't be using this app!

It now stays enabled.

I'm using CM10 but had same issue with stock JB and even though it loads and says everything is groovy, it still will not let me talk over 3G. Not sure what the problem is, but I also tried manually editing the db using an editor and it will not stay saved. Unsure what's happening here, even with latest update. REALLY want this to work though! Using ROM toolbox pro to view and SQLite editor to edit but still no joy.

I get a "Database Error" "Unable to access database. Is Video Chat enabled Talk installed' Hangouts is.. but Talk never has been... does that mean that the database doesn't exist unless you had talk at one point? HTC One DevEd on AT&T
