INMOTION SCV - Bluetooth

Very shady app. So many questions: why do they need all those permissions? Why do they need me to create an account? Why do they ask for my phone number, full name, my picture and even my job? Why does this app have a social network? In an ideal world, this app would ONLY have the Bluetooth management section for my ewheel, and NOTHING else. Also, why is only half of the app translated to English? And the existing translations are quite bad.

Permissions are horrible. Phone call, reroute outgoing call, send texts/MMS... The version on the play store didn't have the features for L8F light settings, you have to accept an update popup on startup that downloads an apk, that you have to manually install... Bluetooth connection, and SVC settings worked great, and was please to discover a self-diagnose test. Although, the social network, and ranking stuff are an overkill, I just want to configure the settings from time to time. Please release bluetooth protocol documentation (from led control to firmware update), so that lighter alternative apps could be worked on.

After upgrading the app version to 6.5.3 the bluetooth worked fine too. If the bluetooth did not connect or giving problems then the trick to make the bluetooth working is that: download the newest version file on your. UnInstall the app and then reinstall the newest version app and after you sign in using app and get to the screen "Manage Your SCV" and if your device already visible, then select it and remove it, then search for your inmotion device and connect it. This is how it worked for me. Your bluetooth will work fine.

This app is a shame ... Bluetooth doesn't work. I have other apps that can manage the Bluetooth perfectly. Please use relationship developpers for the next update

After login, app pop up message "Your account has been logged in elsewhere, please login again" and push me to login screen again(dead loop). I was send email to developer with problem description. They ignored me for two weeks. Dear Google please help. I use this app only because it only support my Inmotion electric wheel. No one want help me for​ two months!

It keeps popping out the message in app about new version and ask download from its site. Why not go straight line put new version on app store instead

The app works well for me. The majority of the app is in Chinese, yes. However, the key features will display in English just fine and I have had no difficulties navigating the app with English prompts. That being said, it might be helpful to have a fluent English speaker provide the translations. I have had one hiccup, so far, in which I had to uninstall and reinstall the app. Frankly, however, show me an app - any app - which doesn't have a hiccup every now and then. My only compliant would be that there are a few small "features" which have no explanation or directions. Currently, I am trying to determine exactly what "Car body turning and forward correction" does.

Just got my new Inmotion V8 and was very upset about an initial expirience with the app. Had to spend few hours to overcome the problem. So what is happening with the app - instead of fixing app bugs (which it has a lot), manufacturer introduces new limitations. App traces your phone location by IP, and if it thinks you should not be using your wheel in this country - it just blocks the app from connecting to the wheel. UPDATE: Chaning status from 2 stars to 1 star as instead of fixing the issue, manufacturer tries to make it worse for customers.

Looks ugly. After last update it sets max speed limit for me to 15 km/h, why??? It was 20km/h before! Why do you limiting my wheel abilities?

When trying to connect to my V8, after putting in the password I get a "locate failed". Any way to get around this? Someone mentioned this scans your location from IP? I would love for a fix for this or a workaround

Version 6.4.8 was stable for my inmotion L8F. Latest version from Google Play store caused my e-scooter to have delayed acceleration and brakes when connected to the app, even after calibration. This is very dangerous as the scooter takes 1-2 seconds to accelerate/brake after pressing the buttons, which could easily lead to collisions. When not connected to the app, the e-scooter functions normally.

Nice enough. Just sometimes the bluetooth data disconnect from my scv without reason, but its rarely. And sometimes the speed limit warning doesnt sound, my scv just suddenly tilt back if it pass the speed limit i've set.

"Failed to get SCV data ." - I can't connect to my wheel! It seems to be developed by kids or idiots:(

Now it can't find my inmotion V3S even though bluetooth is working just fine on my phone with it. Even in point blank range it fails to find the V3S when my phone is already connected via Bluetooth.

It's a good app idea but it crashes a lot it's ok would be Kool if you could buy spare parts for it on the app and had a setting for MPH and not just KPH

Update screws everything up! This does NOT work. The old app connected just fine and now I can't connect anymore. Fix this please!

After update my V3 firmware which is supposed to improve the Bluetooth connectivity..instead now it's worse..cannot connect to my V3 now..what the hell!!!! God dammed it!

It is app supposed to work my Inmotion electric unicycle yet Bluetooth connection is terrible keep discounting from the unit. To make app worse with ad and built in Chinese social media.

Why is it when I put my info in there it doesn't save it.

I am unable to connect my V3 to my Android phone Sony Z3. I can only connect to the bluetooth audio. Is there something wrong with the app? I couldn't even register a new account previously, did not receive verification code despite trying many times. Finally able to work the following day.

Not really 100% english Version. Constant crashing on my S4. Seriously whats wrong with the product managers? Dont you guys test it? Got the Inmotion lively and i m not really sure if they forgot the button for switching on the headlights.

Unable to link my smartphone Sony C5 dual. I've written Inmotion but no answer. The wheel is cool but poor support..... That's a pity.

After upgrading firmware and app to latest, app will connect, but v8 won't run at all, please contact me on how to downgrade firmware

Why is it not pairing my with my Samsung Galaxy note 4?

Please help to fix the bugs cos once I open the app it say crash and close the apps.

Does this app also work with the v3? If not, where do I get it? Thank you.
