Receipt Hog - Receipts to Cash

There aren't many of these apps out there but this one takes number one spot... Easy to use keeps it interesting with slot play and surveys... And sweepstakes. Payout rate is great! This isn't about making Fast Money Money money... But it only takes a few seconds to snap a picture and submit. It took me about a year to cash out on about 50 bucks. But then again I waited until I went way over my Max amount of coins that I needed... Highly recommended

U gotta try. Not having to purchase certain items to get rebates or whatever this is so easy. Just take a pic of your receipt & that's it. I would definitely recommend this app. Wish it would give u more coins for each receipt. The slots I can't seem to win anything & but I've still earned enough to cash in. I've gotten up to $25 so far. Now working on a bigger amount. loving this app *AWESOME*

Get money back for everyday purchases you make anyway! This was my review the first time I cashed out ($5), after using this app for a year or two... My wife and I have yet to see a review from someone who has won big on the slots (red flag). We also have 3 kids so if you don't spend big money all the time or have a big family (which causes you to make many small purchases) you won't see $5 for nearly a year.

Worked great at first, now I constantly an being told not a full receipt when it is, mainly pay at the pump receipts, have lost at least 45 coins or more due to this issue. I am not being rewarded for my fuel receipts anymore. Worked great at first, now their is always some issue with at least one or more of my rewards. Then one time I'll get credited for our small station down the road, then the next they tell me it don't count and I buy the same thing all the time.

I LOVE this app. It's extremely easy to use. It's fast and legit. The only issue is that you don't level up very well. I literally upload 6 receipts a day every day and level up is still a distance away. But that's not major to me. I like that customer service actually helps you out. I've made a lot of FREE money on this app. I tell EVERYONE about this app: family, friends, every cashier I ever come across, any parent I see... This app is awesome!

I absolutely love this app!! It's so easy and you earn gift cards quickly it's one of the better apps out there and who couldn't use Amazon gift cards or PayPal gift cards?! I paid for most of my kids Christmas last year by using this app plus it's saved me when I was in a real pinch that I was able to cash out for a gift card and buy my kids birthday cake pan on Amazon. Love this app. Very user friendly and taking pics of your receipts can help if you need to return something and have lost the paper copy. Not a super fast money maker but I've had it for about 4 months and just made my second $5 cash out. No problems with payment either. Definitely recommend.

I have about 5 apps that let me upload my receipts. This one is definitely taking me the longest to rack up points! You can only get 100 points/week, which means almost 3 months to get $5. I've already got $15 total on 2 other apps and I just started them all last month! ($10 on Shopkick & $5 on Fetch. And I'm at $10 on iBotta but can't cash out til $20.) Other than that, can't complain about free money, so my rating is 4 stars. It's fun & addictive.

A lot of fun scanning receipts an then getting to spin slot machine!! I've not attempted to cash any coins in yet so I'll post again once I see what that area is all about what type prizes is it a rip off or for real this area will be the true determianater for me!! So figuring best have 1000 coins plus before even looking to spend them

Good idea may take a while to reach cash out. Sometimes takes far too long for receipts to be processed. Does not have some UK based stores so this does need a bit of work challenging recipts. Ive never won more than 10 coins on the spins and as yet not had any survey invites so gettinf bonous coins is very slow

Like it! Love when you can earn extra coins from surveys/studies or win during spins. Very easy to use. I have noticed that if i scan too many at once i get credited based from wrong amount lately and also on ocassion i have to resubmit due to them marking it as too old when ut wasnt... im guessing they manually look and enter and mistakes happen...

I told my mother in law about this app and explained how it worked. Still having some issues getting the screen not to scroll when trying to capture receipt but not sure if that's my phone or the app. Update: issue was with the phone I was using. Have had this in 2 or 3 other phones and tablets and has worked great. Still reccomending to people.

Fun, easy to use. Love feeding the Hog! Edit: 1/26/18 Everytime I try to upload a receipt, my phone turns off as soon as I snap the pic. Have to do it several times to go through. Fix it, please!!! Final edit, 1/29/2018, it is with regret that I am now deleting this app. At this point, I cannot upload any more receipts due to the phone shutting off every time the camera feature is opened. Today I have tried a total of 16 times with the same results. I haven't been able to load a single receipt.

Awesome app ! Its super simple and fun. Good way to keep up with your receipts. I cashed out and got PAID 2 times now ! YAY. The only thing i dont like is the spin. You dont win much on that. They need to change it and let people win a few more points. This is not a get rich quick, but you have a few min. Then this is for you!

Just started, have 240 coins so far and my first 11 receipts haven't even been processed yet ! My sister also does it. App is running fine no issues yet also it states it's a great way to keep up with all your receipts in one place and not have to keep the paper copy ! Pretty neat app so far

I would love to use this app. Been on the wait list for six months. Even tried signing up a couple months ago with fb. Still on the waiting list. I wonder if the wsit list is real. Or you just have to keep trying and get lucky. UpDate Yea! 9 months and I am off the wait list - I have High Hopes! Update. Got accepted yea! I have used it for 4 months or so. Really wonderful already earned credits for a yr of glamour magazine. Fun to use.

Ever since 1st February, the app has not worked properly. It has taken days to accept receipts and I still have about 8 waiting to approve. This did not happen before and I feel the app is intentionally waiting so we don't get the weeks slot. Can this be looked into otherwise I will delete this. The other receipt app I have works no problem.

I wouldn't waste your time. I love to save money just as much as anyone, but for heaven sakes! The wait time just to earn a measly 5 bucks is crazy! Good luck folks, hope your ???????? "Hog adventure" is better than mine was! ????

Pro: pretty easy to use, snap pic of receipt and watch the points add up. Con: takes forever for the points to add up. Sometimes receipts are refused..mostly on grounds of not being full receipt. Accept it is a full receipt and for the for the last six or so months receipts from this eating establishment or business have been accepted regularly and now they are no longer accepted. Just weird. Having lots of issues with gas receipts being listed as incomplete.

I don't mind using this app, I actually like it. Keeps my receipts all in one place. It takes forever to get rewards but that's usually how apps/programs that are similar work so not a big deal. It hasn't been connecting to my Amazon account, it just shows the loading screen. Waited an hour and was still "loading".

Easy And dependable. It took me 2 months to earn 5 dollars but I wasn't diligent about uploading receipts. So depending on how many receipts you upload, it could be a fast earner for ya. But you don't have to chase deals. ANY AND I MEAN ANY RECIEPT WORKS! Also, not a huge space consumer.

Constantly gets the name of the store I input wrong, which is irritating. Used to correct it for them but don't anymore. Just learned they're paying their independent contractors who check the receipts something like 2 cents a receipt so I don't feel bad for this company if it gets wholly inaccurate data from us. I hope the data analytics division of the companies they contract with know, though.

They've improved this app and it's one of my faves. I've cashed out multiple times. You can get extra coins sometimes when they ask you to do a quick survey in addition to the coins you earn from the receipt. They even accept gas receipts and fast food receipts.

I like how easy it is to use. It is a very attractive and easy to navigate app. I wish I understood the reward system for each receipt but I almost don't care because it is so easy I don't feel like I'm wasting my time! I also love that it helps me keep down the clutter of unnecessary receipts (like consumables and restaurants that you don't need for receipts). It helps so much with budgeting too!!

This app is awesome! If you're bad about tossing receipts without thinking, don't fret. Snap a quick pic and toss! Receipt Hog has it from there and it'll be there for future uses if ever needed. Quick, easy, convenient, and fun too!

VERY EASY to use! However, I've had to edit my rating from 5 stars to 3 after seeing exactly how long it takes to earn a "prize". I've been at it for over a month and my large family spends quite a bit of money. I'm just now to $5 gift card for Amazon OR PayPal OR Glamour Magazine. Not many prizes to keep tugging along rather than tossing them (the receipts) in the trash. I'll edit my rating if something changes. Until then... Good luck.

I highly highly recommend this app! There's no fine print on how to earn rewards and I have already earned over $30 in Amazon gift cards in about 1.5 years. It's also useful for pulling up old receipts to verify what I bought or to use them for returns

It's great for what it is. Only issue is a lot of receipts get turned down for being blurry or out of date when they aren't. I know they have to have enlargement software. Like another receipt app I have. All in all, it's worth the effort. Just received my first $40 gift card.

This is a great app. Who doesn't love "free" money. Just upload all ur reciepts and get the credit for them and then cash out once youve mad the recommended amount. Love this app. Really easy to use too. And you can use familys reciepta too just not ur friends.

It does feel like you got to add up a bit to many receipts just to get a couple coins at the time. Kinda disencourages continuing the submission of receipts since it feels like more a waste of time than a reward at times. Other than that the App is easy to use the slot machine makes it fun only wish to get more spins.

It used to be awesome, I do at least 20 receipts a month ( if not more) and I would cash out really fast but now it takes a long time to cash out. I've cashed out about five times since I started a year ago, nice to have $5 to $10 here and there... ADMIN please make it easier to cash out like it used to be PLEASE!!!!

Permission requests include: Contacts, Email, Phone number, Facebook acc, PayPal acc, and location. Must give phone number in order to get paid. Cannot hide card details from receipts, or modify them to protect yourself at all. They say all the data uploaded is anonymous, but they want your GPS location, Phone number, card details, and social network accounts. If it was me asking you for these details you would be calling the police.

Takes for a long time to get cash but it is fun using this app. Almost playing a game at the same time as keeping records of receipts and at the end you get rewarded. Not for a busy person but recommended to someone who doesn't mind spending some extra time on this app. After a year and half, I got $40 cash.

Better app now then it use to be. The CON...it's not capable of accepting on line or txt reciepts at this time, and no hard printer copies of those reciepts are accepted. Cant wait till that issue is fixed. Alot of my purchase reciepts are online or txt. Make sure you have originals to send them.

I really liked this app at first. !!!BUT!!! What are you doing with our information from the receipts???? I started to get uneasy. And why, when installing, did I have to give you permission to make and manage my phone calls? But I allowed it. I was racking up points and spins over the holidays, and was really excited about it. But it occurred to me, I'm giving you what I buy and the prices. The stores. Personal information sometimes, such as if I go to the drug store and also pick up a prescription. For a few points and spins. So, after using this for a month, I just became more suspicious, and I uninstalled due to the discomfort. I hope others read this, and think about the real price you are paying, and is it worth the reimbursement that is offered.

Major waist of time they are very vague about rewards only come to find out you need something like 5000 points to get $3.00 at amazon. Two thumbs down trust me if I had more thumbs I'd give them more!

I don't mind snapping receipts after every purchase as I used to do similar things with surveys and scanning shopping. But this takes app takes so long to get any rewards for the amount of effort put in. 6 months and I'm almost at the £5 mark. Not worth it once I get to that point to redeem it.

Great app just a shame there are not more English shops on there to earn coins. Alot are american. Most receipts will earn either hog spins or sweepstake entries. It has taken me about 4 months to earn my first £5 even with the Christmas period but its still cash for snapping receipts! Every little helps!

Its quite a nice app to get some cash back, though it's a lot of receipts to get like a £3 gift card hopefully I'll win something in the sweepstakes next month. But recently the camera function is being weird with the flash. It'll turn off the flash when I need it most. This only started occuring when I last updated the app. Can this be fixed in the next update? Don't want my uploads be rejected by dim lighting. :(

It will be 2019 by the time I reach 1000 coins JUST to recieve a simple ass $5!!! I've been submitting multiple reciepts per day for the past 3 months and never recieved more than 10 coins for 1 reciept. I rarely get the 10 coins. Always 1-5 coins. They love to give out entries to drawings that I doubt actually exist and they rarely give you slotachine options. Also surveys don't exist. I did 2 within 1 months. COMPLETE waste of time.
