About Kindergarten Word Play Lite
Kindergarten Kids Word Play is for kids who know their ABCs and are now learning how those alphabets make words. Kindergarten Kids Words Lite is a set of 25 interactive exercises to teach kids about 20 words. Phonics, images and spoken words create a complete learning experience in this app. The Full version has 250+ exercises with 250+ words.

Re-arrange the given letters into a word for the image. Tap the image to hear the word. Tap the empty spots to hear what letter goes there.
Our Story
When we looked for apps to help teach our kids, we couldn't find any that were good. One was just information text for the kids to learn by rote. Another was multiple-choice tests - just press buttons. A third had 2 sound-tracks and 4 animations running all at the same time. How was a kid supposed to focus?
So, we designed and built them games - that teach in the way parents and teachers explain concepts, and engage in the way playing does.

I am trying out all the phonics apps and this is the third one I have installed and will be uninstalling because the sounds given to represent the letters are not correct. It's too bad because the concept is great, but these are supposed to be teaching phonics but instead they are teaching bad habits . I don't own a tabby cuh-a-tuh and I don't drive a cuh-a-er! Hey, all you K teachers turned techies or you techies turned K teachers give us a good app, please!

The phonics and spelling are the best "games" I like that the letter sounds are repeated as many times as they are touched. Wish that after the words are matched correctly they were said again.
