Infiniti InTouch for Android
After a few months with minimal functionality, exept for google and facebook; all of the sudden no longer works. Lucky for me didn't bought the gps
This app is garbage and makes me hate Infiniti. I wish I could return the entire car. My fault for not going through entire setup before buying. Never again will I buy an Infiniti.
Very sad. Over a year and no update. $40K+ cars, and no Android Auto? Come on Infiniti...get with the times.
Cars tech is useless and these apps fit the experience quite well. These apps do not work
Why would i want google search and facebook when there are a 100 other apps that can help
Took a long time to finally connect and the end result is the app telling me that my car doesn't belong to me, asking me for all kinds of hoops to jump through in order to confirm that the stupid car is actually mine. Ridiculous! I hate this app and the Infiniti as a brand for this nightmare of a programming.
States that I need to pair my device to my car via Bluetooth. It is paired, but still shows that it is not through the app, so basically it doesn't let me use the app for anything. I've reinstalled it and re-paired my device several times and still nothing.
Just did an update today to head unit proxy and it said you could basically do everything you do on your phone from the screen of your car, NOT!! Didnt change anything... pay top dollar (i love the car itself) but doesnt even support mirrorlink when kia already does...come on now. The top screen is useless except the camera for non gps cars anyways!! Make a decent update please!!! Everyone will be happy
Infiniti get your sh!t together will you? Wtf is this piece of sh!t app when we pay premium dollars for your cars. And, you want me to subscribe to your services when my free trial runs out? And you give me this sh!tty app? Why the bleep do you think I'd hand you a nickel for this absolute and total crud of an app? This goes for your Infiniti Connection app too. Holy sh!t I can't believe it.
Had my q50 for 3 years now and i still don't have the functionality that was promised to me with the intouch system. Still no Pandora or Iheart radio. What makes it worse is most cars like nissan, which is the parent brand for Infiniti have these features in their car. This a big fail and i will not but another Infiniti until there are some major updates with this Out of Touch system.
I haven't been able to connect even though Bluetooth is working and synced. I get phone calls and texts. The app says disconnected all the time. Apparently this has been a problem for a while and Infiniti has done nothing to rectify the problem.
Useless app. It offers no function that I can find. I was under the impression that it would allow you to install new apps for the car but it only has Facebook and Google search. I 'added' Facebook but nothing has ever appeared in the app list in the car. There are 2 blank app pages in the InTouch interface which makes it seem like there were plans for additional apps but there are none available. I love my car but this app is complete garbage.
I decided not to buy the car based on the ratings of this app. Tech is very important to me and if their app is crap, I will get a different car. Maybe this will help them to spend some development dollars. I like the way the car (Q50 and Q60) look and drive, but there are others available which have mature tech. I will look at Infiniti again in 3 or 4 years. Maybe this will have improved.
The in car apps available for the Q50 in the UK are really poor. This app is supposed to act as the interface between Android, the internet and your car, and in that respect it fails terribly. It hasn't been updated since 2015! Add that to the fact that the app only connects very occasionally and when it does is very slow, and you get to the well deserved one star rating for the app. The in car technology is also poorly lacking. These huge disappointments in user experience are just a few of the reasons why I no longer own an Infiniti vehicle.
I setup everythings that the dealer told me to do. But ones the app is connected to the car. The intouch system in the car keep showing me "connecting to the server" but never connected.. or some time it say "can not connected to intouch serve"... please solve this issue otherwise all this system is useless, its just showing off from the company.. thxx
Cars half the cost of these have better tech, and their customer service folks have the gall to tell customers that things like Android Auto haven't met their standards. Disgraceful.
A few years ago, it worked great. Now it's useless, Infiniti owners should be upset! Infiniti advertises "In Touch" app & features in the brochures & marketing for selling their cars! What a joke! - Every other car manufacturer in this century makes it work & makes it look easy. it RARELY connects & only then do some things work (it's different every time!)...this is really a bad app, so many issues, very unreliable. Will Infiniti ever take their own app seriously??? Such limited & unreliable, errors, unavailability, etc.. The other cars made today have better phone app connectivity & integration for apps than this app. Is it the cars computer or simply the app? - maybe it's both!!! Please wake up Infiniti.
I think it is obvious they don't nor does Nissan / Infiniti. Truly one of the most useless apps ever. All you can install is Google and Facebook? No Pandora, Spotify, or actual useful apps? The only app that may be worse is the Intouch Services app. You can get better on a Chevy than this, which is just sad.
Ummmmmm. WTF!!! Chevy has better tech, simply plug and play. This mess is rediculous, just use Android auto and apple carplay(if your an apple user, blah) for goodness sakes, and stop being cheap Infiniti/Nissan.
Major disappointment. Suggestion: At least add an app that does a better job of organizing and playing music via bluetooth. As it is, I have to listen to every song on my phone because it ignores the playlists and folders I have set up on my Galaxy 5.
I love the car. I hate the app. This is 2016 where mobile is everything. Innovation is clear in the automobile, which makes this app confusing. I'd rather not have the app available, than have a useless app for the sake of having an app.
Just as everyone else says, this app does not work except for bare minimal functionality with Facebook. Could never get it to connect to my calendar or email. Disappointing that other useful apps haven't been added like Pandora and iHeart Radio. My Acura has these features and they work very well. Infiniti needs to make an investment in this technology to keep pace with competitors.
Well... this is what you get when outsourcing to the lame software development company. To add to all those complains, some stupid didn't think that app name "Mobile App" would interfere with another app which has name "Mobile App". Guess what that other app is... a cousin - Nissan Connect. I happened to own both cars, Infiniti and Nissan, and really wanted to use connected services in both. I would expect the normal app to automatically start and connect when BT connection with the car is established. No, it doesn't do it. I try to auto-start this app on BT connection using 3rd party app, but two "Mobile App" apps are causing mashup with auto-start. I suspect there are some other issues with having two apps on the same phone. Leaving complain here, since premium brand had to take care of the customers better than not-premium brand. Regarding app name, this is likely some APK packaging bug in the recent versions. I bet I'd seen proper naming a few versions back. Another quirk: When it can't connect to the internet, it should keep trying, keep trying... not just give up in 2 min and report "the problem". There is no one available to respond to your reports
I love my new Q50 and loved my G37 before it. However, InTouch is a major technology failure as currently implemented. I understand why Infiniti has opted not to go with Apple or Android Car options given the unfortunately exclusionary contracts those companies require. However, the clunky interface of InTouch and laughable app availability are fairly inexcusable. Major audio apps (Spotify, Pandora, IHeartRadio) should, without any room for debate, have been part of the initial release and if not then, certainly should have been sorted by now. The Facebook app is fairly pointless- and to some extent that's good, I don't want drivers FB'ing at the wheel really- and the Google search app is almost never going to be used on my car. I want to hope for improvement, but as I look at InTouch historically, it doesn't seem like any real progress has been made and Infiniti's complete lack of commitment makes me wonder if it ever will. Very disappointing element of an otherwise great little car.
Why in the world would they focus on having Facebook support, something you really don't need while driving, but no app support for Pandora? Ridiculous.
This is an absolute embarrassment for a company of this stature. You stand idly by and provide not even an apology to your customers or a plan to make this part of the driving experience on par with the rest of what the industry offers. At a minimum you misled customers when buying our new cars. Do something. Anything.
Wow. Thought I downloaded an older version of this software. But looks like it's current. Currently garbage.
After setting up my Infiniti account and updating my info (including VIN) I follow prompts on app and it will NOT connect. Manual attempt gives error code 20033. Worthless. Phone only connects on its own via Bluetooth and it does not allow media, only phone.
If I have my phone, why would I need a search engine and FB on the screen?
Doesn't work at all for me.i have a note 4 and every time I try to access google search it says that there is no phone connected, but my phone shows that is connected to intouch. useless!!
App is pretty much useless. Isn't worth the time it took me to install. Sooooopo disappointed.
The app wont even show up on the app garage menu, customer service try to solve but unable to. Shame on you infiniti!
Worthless app never worked on my car and couldn't use my email as they advertising
No Pandora or iHeartradio. This app really does a bunch of NOTHING but drain your battery.
Major disappointment, i think an update is a must by now. Really dont think it's that hard to update the app and to add ota updates for intouch when it's connected to ur phone
No support for audio apps seriously.
Tried to connect to the QX60 with multiple devices, the app never worked
You can put more stuff on this app for as much money we paid for the vehicle
when it works, google search is quite useful. but takes 3 minutes to load. and app is slow. I never got voice search to work

This app has never received an update, and has very limited use. Come on Infiniti and Nissan. Where are all the apps you promised for the Q50?
