Province

Used to give you the best selection of top stories from the Province. However since they switched formats, the stories are not updated, and the content within the stories is all mixed up. It's like they took the real article threw it into a blender and then posted it on the app. Also they often refer to multimedia content, but the content is not there, nor is a link to view it from an external source. Do yourselves a favor, Province. Just remove this app from the store and stick to print and the web.

The articles are all mixed up and jumbled. The article will have a picture that had nothing to do with the story posted, and then have the headline not match the content. What's the point of the headlines don't match the stories.

Used to be my go-to app for local and sports news. Now this is garbage, stories are not updated, pictures/titles/content misleading and very unorganized. It has been like this for months!! You lost a loyal subscriber. Uninstall.

What is going on? Why havent the stories changed for days now. If there is a problem at least make us aware. I will uninstall soon if i dont get answers.

The app is not great. Stories under wrong titles. Province never responds to emails about the issue nor do they seem to fix it. I read other papers this way and you rarely see errors. Your sports articles are the worst to this

Horrible new design, ignores Android design recommendations.

Since last update it simply does not work. Data unavailable all the time for last few days.

This app stopped working earlier today. When I try to open it I get a message saying "connection error....data unavailable"

About 1/3 of the time, the story and the headline don't match. So frustrating.

Crashes all the time. Stories don't update

Still has good news occasionally but often stories are jumbled or the formatting has gifs that don't work in the app.

Since postmedia is losing money I guess that have nobody to update news for this app on the weekends

I had a Samsung S4 the pictures displayed every article. Upgrade to S6 and the pictures only show if you tap the location.

Can't comment on anything, and a lot of stories you'd think shouldn't be news. Fix the commenting section

Still no pictures with Android app 6 months after reporting it the developers.. These guys clear don't care. Don't waste your time

Sharing feature is still pathetic

App works ok. Can't comment tho. Not a big deal as I rarely feel the need.

Just upgraded from an s4 to an s7. I love the functionality were I get to read the news from a piece of paper.

Unable to see pictures unless they are clicked on.

This app isn't working the past couple days. I get blank screens. I still gave it 5 stars cuz this is a great app. I've had this app a couple years now and this is the first issue I've ever had so I can't complain to much. Please fix this issue.

Not able to see pictures without tapping on them. Never had Problem in the old app on my old phone

The app gives you no url which frequently leaves me trying to google the article when i want to share it. It's a pretty big over sight to not provide url's to link the articles in my opinion. This has been annoying for years now. That's why only 2 stars.

Where is the top stories section gone? Stupid! They haven't updated the stories in two days! un installing.

Much smoother and easier to read. The ads are pretty big though. But i guess with newspaper sales going way done you got to get money somewhere.

The new format is terrible. Go to local news, and see what is going on in Russia. Go to Canucks page, see what the Canadiens and Oilers are up to. Where did the Lions page go? No comments section anymore. I'm uninstalling.
