Good enough to collect current info on who's currently shooting who in Saskatoon...but not quite so up-to-date when it comes to certain topics. Some of the "news" under Technology, for example, have been there for weeks.

I could stand the introduction of static ads without sound, but the new ads with loud music and unable to skip for 5 seconds is no longer worth the pain. There are better sources for local news out there that don't ram advertising down your throat.

Pop up adds that take the full screen. What the hell? So annoying!

I preferred prior versions where there was an indication of how old the news was prior to clicking on the headlines. Also, what happened to comments? Bring "driving" back natively to the app. I hate having to leave the app for driving! Why do half the articles want to me to click to load the story in a browser? What's the point of using this app if I just end up using the website anyways?

I use the android app on my G3 on Sasktel Lite network with no problems at all. It installed fast and easily. The photos load fine and videos play properly. I like following the new articles throughout the day as they become available.

You really need to fix the issue of not having any pictures until you click on it. Tons of people have commented about it as far back as February from what I can see. Very poor that you haven't done anything about it

Pictures do not show until you tap on blank spot where picture should be. Cannot believe this still has not been fixed.

The only news I really want from the star is the obits. I mentioned this to the developers over 1.5 years ago and I was told it would be available "early in the new year." Still no obits...

It always force closes. Where did the driving section dissappear to?

Worked a couple times then repeatedly crashed on nexus 7 jellybean. Uninstalled

GS3 lte coverage and app fails to launch giving a 'data unavailable' error

No problems here, works fine. I just wish the stories would come up in chronological order. It is annoying to flip through old stories to pick out new ones.

Installed and used for 5 minutes. Three ads served right in the middle of the screen, and crashed twice. No options for subscription (I have a paper one). My newspaper experience is better, I only have to deal with the paper overlay ads from vwag which are a waste of paper.

Crashes every time I open it. It can't stay open for longer than ten minutes before it crashes

To the comment below. This is an app for the local newpaper in Saskatoon, Canada. We use celcius to gauge temp.

Fix your app before you have it out here.....can't tell the temp in c....uninstalled....

Default font is too small, probably optimized for a smaller display. Doesn't switch to landscape.

Useful for getting caught up on the happenings of saskatoon

I wish I could read the while newspaper. I have a digital subscription already. Why can't I use my phone to use it?!
