The fish pond is controlled waters, artificial lakes, or reservoirs of water that are used to maintain a certain amount of fish to fish farming activities, recreational fishing, or decoration. The fish pond was recommended by FAO to develop in poor and developing countries because it is able to provide food, sources of income, sources of irrigation water, and drinking water for livestock.
