BBMP Sahaaya (Help) is an easy and user friendly citizen centric Service interface, serves as one central system to report grievance across 20+ departments like Road Infrastructure, Waste Management, Building Plans, Tax and Revenue departments, Health, Pest & Animal Control, Tree & Forest department, Public Safety, Welfare, Environment etc and issues like Encroachment , Corruption and Illegal Activities.

A 24x7 Call Center manages requests, follows up with concerned BBMP officers, tracks for resolution and closure.
Sahaaya helps citizens monitor the progress and status of their complaints / requests. Progress of requests and escalations reviewed by BBMP senior officials and BBMP Councilors.

This mobile application provides easy means to make requests to BBMP Sahaaya.

More About BBMP Sahaaya:

BBMP Sahaaya receives requests through several other methods - Online, Telephone call, Social networks.
Call Center assigns new requests to concerned department officer responsible for that location , at ward level or zone level. Status changes from Complaint Received to Assigned.
Department official is provided with phone number of complainant for getting further details and clarifications on the reported issue.
Complaint status changes to In-progress – to indicate that required action has been initiated.
Once the issue is resolved, status changes to Resolved. Call Center contacts Complainant for his feedback and acceptance to close the request.
In some cases if Officials find the complaint as not valid any more, these could be marked as Rejected.
In case complaint is not addressed in-time, status would be changed to Escalated.
In case complaint requires new project vs maintenance work, ex – a new road or bus shelter required. Status would be set as Long Term Solution – to track and plan these separately.
In case if complainant is not satisfied with resolution, he/she can re-open the request.

Prompt service. I had complained about dead stray dog clearance. They resolved within 24hrs. We need to follow up to get the work done. Anyways I'm happy with the first time prompt service from bbmp. Thanks a lot. The staffs were polite n good. Thanks to mahadevapura officer manjunatha(/k.r.puram/ramurthynagar) n staff soma... keep up the good work.

One of worst app from BBMP. Zero response from the assigned person. I recommend not to waste your precious time by registering complaint here. I had raised several complaints here, and after several follow-up from my end they will assign the work to the concerned bbmp officers, but they will close the complaint by changing the status of the complaint to 'resolved' after few days, without even solving the issue.

App purpose is good but response from officials is very bad. I got a message that one official is assigned but I don't see any action taken till now and I don't get any updates as well. Let the app not be created just for it's presence. It has to fulfill it's objective which is very important.

My complaint for stray dogs is open from Nov 2016. Only update repeatedly is "Informed Mallappa". Guess no one checks the app other than ccadmin. Here is a song for you Mallappa... hope it inspires you to do your work.. (sing in mustafa mustafa tone) Mallappaa mallapaaa do some work mallappa... day by day..day by day.. stray dogs are increasing mallappa..everydaay we are soo scared... everdaay we wait for your raid... do some work, do some work mallappa

Lots of work needs to be done to make the app usable. To name a few 1. There has to be an escalation matrix. 2. An option to follow up has to be added. 3.Automatic escalation for unresolved complaints should be there. 4.Option to share the complaint over social media can be added.

Intent is good but the response time of bureaucrats who get assigned these issues is very poor. For my only complaint marked resolved, a shoddy work was done to close the complaint. Unless the creators of the app are also monitoring the outcome it is useless. Also there should be an option to rate the outcome.

we must also get call from concerned official when our complaint is lodged untill the complaint is closed. If complaint is not closed within 2 months commissioner should initiate action against concerned official. a wriiten statement must be obtained for having closed the complaint from the complainant.

This is a good platform to let BBMP know about a problem. Unfortunately like any other system in India, your problem will never be resolved. Such a joke going around us but nothing can be done. We need at least 60 -70 % govt employee to have some sympathy for the country, presently its less than 1%. We need to wait for another 50 year for any change here.

Fellow bangaloreans.. please have patience....we have to be accurate while complaining. Out of every 10 complaints i have made, 3 or 4 have been resolved. This is an awesome hit ratio compared to 0 % before the app. Please do take care while complaining and follow up. While complaining, u have to be very accurate and use the same terminology as used by the bbpm employees. Also, when following up on complaints, remember, the bbmp employees are also human beings. There is no point in screaming at them. I have always got a courteous response as long as i am courteous to them. Most of the complaints are actually very complicated in nature. Hence patience is required to understand the problems!! The more people complain about a particular problem, the more chances of the problem getting resolved faster. One of my best experiences was when I complained about 11 potholes, they were fixed by next day early morning. I felt very proud that day. I urge every1 to use this app in huge numbers and be persistent and have a lot of patience. Only if we participate in huge numbers, then we can make a change!!

Useless app. Cant even open it. The app keeps showing "Please wait" and does nothing. Suggest you to improve your app before you even try to improve the city.

God only knows what BBMP does. Is there any other no. Where I can complain for the non-working status of there current customer care no. Have been complaining regarding garbage disposal and recently illegal tree cutting. Please respond, for for God sake.
