Today when I started the app I keep getting a message that says try again later. Piece of crap. It crashes often.

Do they have anyone in IT at this company?

Unusable. Slow. Not readable. How low can the Star go?

I used to us this app all the time on my tablet. Now I got a smartphone and it's horrible. I can't look at all thw pages and I can't click on an article to read it in nonprint text. Very disappointed. For someone who only gets the paper Thursday through Sunday this was great.

The latest misbehavior is that the app will only show 4 pages before presenting a blank screen. A sad app for a sagging newspaper. Are you guys going to fix this or what?

Used to love reading e star. New app is simply awful. Using galaxy and it locks up, will not acess articles on both phone and tablet.

When you open the app, it states it is for the ipad. I wasted my money getting a digital edition since you can't read the paper in this app. Only certain articles are available in the other app.

The upgraded app locks up so that I can't fit the newpaper to fit the entire. The result is that I am reading the paoer on one-half of the screen. Fix this thing or else give me the old app back!

It works - JUST. You should not be more upset by the performance of an app than the news you are reading. Samsung Tab S 10.5. Android Lollipop. Scrolling and browsing will vary in the results you achieve. Some times the pages resize, some times not. Tapping the screen, it is a roll of the dice what the app will return to you. The first hint this might not be a well designed and tested app is the statement on the open page 'for iPads'. Hint to the Star - Play Store is for Android devices. Last I checked iPads were iOS based. I would use the browser access to the print edition except they have screwed up access to that from the tablet browsers. I like to look at the print version to see what stories the editors selected as important and to for some content that is different than their web site. The Indianapolis Star claims to want to be the best digital sites. This app should be an embarrassment to the company. Look at the product used by the Daily Journal, the paper just down the road a few miles from you.

Goes where it wants to go without regard for what you actually want to read. Using it on an Android tablet; I wish I had an alternative, but I'm stuck with this Star ap. New update not any better. USAToday front page doesnt load or upload individual articles.

It doesn't work. Was able to read about a page before freezed up. SO HORRIBLE I uninstalled. Don't bother with this one.

I had come to enjoy getting my paper on my IPad in the past. Recently I purchased a Samsung 10.5 only to discover I cannot read the paper on this device. The font is very small and does not allow the zoom to enlarge. The app is clunky and unresonsive.

Receive TOKEN AUTHENTICATION ERROR message every few days. Only recovery is to uninstall then download & reinstall. App doesn't support SD card. Samsung Tab 2.

...I HAVE TO KEEP REINSTALLING IT DUE TO AUTHENTICATION ERROR. This is getting very old and I see the same complaints in other reviews. Customer service WILL NOT put up with for too long....I know I will not. Please fix this problem! If I did not know better I would assume the supplier of the app is paid a fee every time someone downloads it and has built in a trojan horse in the code to kill the app every few days to cause customers to have to reload it.

Very slow rendering on my Nexus 10. And the maximum font size at maximum zoom in is not large enough. Compares very unfavorably to Radae. I hope the developers focus on readability soon.

It's always funny when the splash screen says ipad edition when its clearly android. Token authentication error.

Like reading the paper via this app, but have uninstalled and reinstalled way too many times. Once it force closes will not allow me to put in my ID and password., that is the need to uninstall. An update to this review. Continue to have the Sam problem. Would like to change the rating to zero stars. Install lasts approximately 5 days. Zero response from the developer of this app. Even called the newspaper, got nowhere. Would like to see it work. Changed my review... Not even worth the one star. Very disappointed. I pay for the app and have not been able to read my paper in over a week. I get a message "token authentication error" each time. Bet the advertisers would not appreciate this either.

I get the same authentication error that others are getting! Big problem!
