About Hide Caller ID
Hide Caller ID will hide your number based on preferences added under settings.
No more fiddling with the general Android settings, hiding or unhiding your number after each call and going through all the pages to find the option to suppress it again.
The app will automatically hide your number and the other party will receive the call as: "Unknown" "Private" or "Withheld" etc. It works for outgoing CALLS only, it does not work with outgoing SMS!
You will only need to set up the app once by adding the suggested operator code when you first open it ( called CLIP or CLIR).
There are no monthly fees - one time payment.
The app is fully operational with all the networks in the USA, Canada, Europe (Mainland and Great Britain), Australia, South America and with some limitations in some countries in Africa and Asia. Please contact us if your provider is not supporting the hiding of your caller id.

Not sure why. But all in network calls are blocked (T-Mobile ), but different networks called are hit and miss. Sometimes their block and sometimes not.

Can't select contacts for whitelist keeps scrolling to the letter of contacts when trying to check box. Programers didn't test this app.

The only thing I don't like is that there's no way to quickly disable the app for just one call. I have to go in, turn it off, make the call, then remember to go back and enable the app again. Maybe there is a way, but I don't know how. Other than that it works great.

I'm not a "techie"-type, so I like the KISS principle. This app is simple to set up & use, seems to work fine. The only additional feature I'd suggest is to actually SEE a clear on-screen icon (in addtn. to the vibration, which isn't always obvious in all situations) confirming whether or not your ph# will be blocked BEFORE you actually hit the DIAL button. Very good app to have as is though! Fits the bill!

Although I use it slightly differently to how it is designed... I have it set to hide for all contacts but have changed the code to show for contacts and have my global phone setting set to hide. This works perfectly as if the app has a problem my number won't escape and everyone I know can see my number!
