DIA Development in the America

Development in the Americas (DIA) is the flagship publication of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Each year, the IDB presents an in-depth research report on one of the major economic and social challenges facing Latin America and the Caribbean. Over the past nine years, the subjects covered have ranged from productivity, housing, and debt to productive policies, quality of life and taxes. This year, the IDB puts the valuable knowledge contained in these books at your fingertips with the introduction of an application for iPad that presents key messages and some of the indicators from each edition. The App combines technology with the efforts of the brightest researchers in Latin America and the Caribbean to produce a powerful knowledge tool for all citizens committed to the economic and social development of the region.
