nice app for helping knowladge...

I have so many issues with this app that I won't remember everything. First of all, the app never remembers what page I'm on. Extremely frustrating to have to navigate through the table of contents each time just to find the chapter I'm on. Second, why is the default view images? When you open the app, it should go to a page of text, not a list of images in that chapter. Third, the app crashes immediately on my tablet unless the page format is set to horizontal scrolling. Also can't highlight.

App continues to be terrible and crashes all the time.

This is by far the worst eBook app I've used. If I switch to a browser to look up more information about something, it crashes when I switch back maybe 80% of the time and it loses track of where I was, so I have to scroll down and hope that I recognize where I was. I can't change the brightness of the screen while using this app. It always cranks up the brightness to full, so I'm blinded if I try to read in bed at night. I've reported crashes probably 20 times, but nothing gets fixed. The last update to this app changed the logo...great work guys. Its not like these books are inexpensive. Please fix your app.

The app won't open, reporting an error every time. It worked for maybe the first month, but it has been months now that I can't get it to work.

Now that everything will sync I am pleased with the ability to pick up from any device and continue to highlight and annotate what I have read. Scrolling can be a bit smoother and it should default to your bookshelf rather than books on sale. Not a bad way to read the BCSC series.

The product has been available for almost a year yet plagued with synchronization issues. It haphazardly synchronizes between my Android devices and none of the highlights will synchronize with the browser based version. So far there is no way to sync pages across devices nor to match the ebook page to the paper editions. I will revisit this review if changes are made hut am disappointed with the progress in such a long period.

AAO has been very quick to fix force close and downloading issues, so the product now works across all my devices and it is a nice way to read the books. So far there is no way to sync pages across devices nor to match the ebook page to the paper editions.

Very disappointing

D70%
by D####:

Abysmal. App is confusing, ugly, and slow. And worse, it doesn't work: it refuses to allow me to download (or even view) the BCSC books that I paid so much for.

O70%
by O####:

I'm very glad to have ebook format. Sadly the aao should have just put the books in kindle format instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. There is no syncing of notes and highlights, the highlight function online is finicky. Notes are hard to reaccess. The desktop version is not available offline. Search function is weak. The smallest font is huge, we're not all presbyopic yet. No page number correlation to the print books. The app is slow and often unresponsive, it crashes often even after the update.
