Great use of VR.
Once I worked out that touching the screen I could drag the view to the right place it's not bad. My footage always starts looking at the crawd rahter than the action. Have yet to work out how to get back to the start screen without exiting the app first.
Ha ha. Who needs a TV when you've got this app? - Everyone, because the quality and constant drop outs make it useless - and that's just during the opening ceremony!
A huge opportunity missed by the beeb - this had massive potential but it just doesn't work. At its best it's lagging and jumping, and at its worst it doesn't load the stream at all. Please fix!
Quite crashy, but mostly OK watching live. However, catch up and downloaded content gives a blank screen when switching to Google Cardboard view on this Samsung S5.
Just too few events. Tried watching mens volley ball and you're stuck up the corner watching from afar. Can hardly make anything out.
The stream is working but the quality makes it unwatchable
Keeps crashing and while it worked for a while it soon froze again
Codec error when trying to stream
Just can't get it to work!
This is real bad! pictures crappie,,,,
Stable and working on S7. More resolution would be great.
This is the future of sports broadcasting.... Now!
Mind blowingly good
No streams yet, obviously. Can't wait until tomorrow night for the opening ceremony. Can't see a way of using my Cardboard yet but, again, that might change once there's some content.
No streams available yet (Olympics not started) but the demo video on the home screen works well and seems to show how good an app this will be in the upcoming weeks. Download option looks a winner as well. Will give 5 stars once streaming commences.
Why advertise that your going to stream the opening ceremony when it's not even on the app when it starts, yes it streams on the cardboard version but nothing not even a link on the Samsung vr headset app, very very very dissatisfied that it was there and then removed at the start of the ceremony
Hopefully a fix soon, sounds great
For a 1st effort well done. Needs work
What's the point unless the camera is in the middle of the action
Exoplayer exception causes stream to stop on 360 vid. This doesnt happen if cardboard viewer selected. Galaxy S7
Search doesn't work, impossible to navigate. Very little information.
Loaded up but when playing vid it opened with errors. Uninstalled.
Quality could be better but definitely a glimpse to the future. Lack of a way to disable notifications has forced an uninstall
Waste of time.

Stream is nice and smooth. Some of the cameras could be better placed but that's not the apps fault. Going into VR mode with Google cardboard results in double vision as the two images don't line up.
