nuVue for Plex & Emby

Perfect

Was 5 stars. Upgraded my phone to pixel with Android nougat. Now playing notification no longer stays active. Have to open app and manually refresh to see if anyone is watching. Correct settings used, just doesn't work. Will update back to 5 stars if this gets fixed.

Way better than the official Plex app for monitoring purposes. What would make it absolutely perfect is minor stuff like notification tray words justification/alignment (so it doesn't just look like a big jumble), font/color adjust for accessibility, and the option to remove info you don't care about from lists to get more list items into the same space. Also Windows/Linux plugins that allow you to monitor your server's current CPU/RAM use would be sweet!

Please fix how notifications are handled if a lot of content is added. I get spammed with notifications in rapid succession if there's a lot of content that was added between updates. Barring that gripe, this is a fantastic app for monitoring shared Plex streams.

I paid for this app awhile ago and every time I use it I get a message saying "Argh! There be pirates in these waters" with a Exit or Buy buttons. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with same results. Please fix this Dev!

I wanted a simple application to monitor new shows added to Plex, and to monitor wheat streams were going. Overall great product. Little buggy on the S7 edge.

Nice interface and features and works first time! I love the notification icon and this is a great companion to the official Plex app for monitoring your server. So this, along with PlexPy is the ultimate way to keep track. Nice one devs!

Once you turn off the many notifications and you have it set up as you want it, it's pretty good

Nothing more. Nothing less. I have a configuration set up that automatically downloads new episodes of several TV shows. Needed a way to know when new shows were available, and this app does just that. Also installed on my wife's phone so she doesn't have to keep asking me when new episodes of her favorite shows are available :)

Every time I enter it says I'm a pirate but I bought the app, I've even refunded it then rebought it again and same problem I have to keep the app open for it to work... Can you help me with this as I want to use this app soo bad but this is too much to do eveytime I open the app to come to google play and open it from here

Two emails and a Facebook message to developer. 3-4 days for reply. Answered his questions then he went silent! Do not recommend at this time. Product has potential but is not stable.

Works well, but noticed on new Android version the notifications are not working reliably. I'm not sure if it's just me. On the beta

Very useful for Plex and Emby server admins/users. I would really love to see a 'Play History' section of some kind (like the Now Playing but a log of the past) to see what was played in the hours I'm away from my devices. Would also love to see Tasker plugin integration. This app is a must! -Re: Play History. Yea i understand the accuracy is lost without a server-side monitor, i guess i just meant whatever nuVue is 'able' to detect. It would come with the understanding that the list is only a history of what nuVue has detected. I actually have this running on a 24/7 stationery device so for me it would be handy. Anyway just an idea that i think would be useful, even if its limited to nuVue's detection. Thanks for the reply :)

This is exactly what I didn't know I wanted, paid for it and got the pay-it-forward licence for the few people I share with. I am still getting it set up but love the look and happy with how it works. Sadly I mostly use Chromecast to view my Plex content but I'll live with it, you never know what'll happen in the future, things might change. I do have one strange thing happening though, when I add multiples it notifies me but the notification tone VERY quickly goes off for each episode in 1-2 seconds :/

I use this with emby and although I can get various notifications straight from the server I like the interface and rich notifications that this provides. Very user friendly for the family - beautifully implemented - great work

I use this app to monitor usage activity on my Plex server. Works great! Only thing I can think of that would make it better is to have the ability to log activity as well. Either way, it was with the money! Thanks developers! Keep up the good work!

I use this with plex and it does everything it says with no fuss.

Awesome app. Notifications for recently added to Plex is my main reason to purchase this app. It's clean and effective. Best part is notification forwarding! This app is awesome and the developer is very helpful.

Love it! I can see who is watching what and I can control how often it updates. One small change that wouldn't change my opinion on the app is to not have it detect when the admin of the plex server was watching a movie. A option to exclude me from the notifications and that would be it.
