LK - Ableton & Midi Control for Android
Hi, I have a oneplus 2 phone i have downloaded this app and paid like 1000rs and there is no sound at all Is this app real do i need a pad or a midi for it to work. Just no sound. It's very waiting first frustrating after paying no sound, please help.
I had to do a second factory reset because of this, it didn't want to uninstall. Every time I tried to uninstall this app it just crashed my tablet. To everyone reading this check the app permissions before installing! THIS APP IS A VIRUS!!!
Just got it... And it does everything I want it to do so far. We'll see what I think in a couple weeks.
I can not use this app on my android phone.. Someone helpme
So this app will not open on my Google Pixel. Any clue why?
Its not not working in my android device
Useless ... It's ONLINE !!!
Wooowwwww, good app.
Bought a few features a while back, they no longer show up as paid. Re installed and downloaded ubridge... nothing. Pretty un impressed EDIT: 3rd download worked for some reason. Will rate higher if it actually recognises. EDIT2: Finally got it set up. midi pads and controller were good. I'm glad you can change sensitivity. Paid for matrix upgrade. Seems decent so far. Would be nice to work with audio clips in the editor as well. I'm sure setting up warping is ridiculous.
Great app - possibly a little *too* fiddly to use on a small phone screen, definitely a lot better for tablet users. It seems that wifi connection from LKbridge/Ubidge has now been dropped which is a shame but I guess this now leads to a more stable connection using a USB cable directly. Any chance of the new Ableton LINK functionality in future builds ? I've bought all the additional functionality which takes the price to about £20 - but you get so much functionality for that!
I'm waiting for my female usb to male 3.5 mm jack order to ship and i'm wondering before i plug it in, does the app support a RGB launchpad mk2 without downloading something else?
Very nice app...looking forward for Ableton Link
This app worked great until I updated it to the last version. Now each control have a lot of delay, like 2 seconds. I am using a TF101.
RIP OFF! I downloaded this and it worked great - what wasn't made clear was that I was downloading a time limited demo (if I had known that I wouldn't have bothered). in any event I bought the product (paid £5.49 which is expensive for an app). Then realised that I'd paid to access just ONE FIFTH of the app! What a rip-off - it means that to get the whole app you have to spend over £20 which for an app is just extortionate. Its a shame because the app itself is good but the greed of the developers means I give it 1 star - fortunately I got a refund from Google. In answer to the sarcastic comment by the developer in reply to my original post - yeah it worked out great as a demo AND I wouldn't have minded paying for it had it been a Fiver or so for the whole thing - BUT over £20 mate - you're living in cloud cuckoo land - I like it - but not enough to shell out £20+ for it! In any event I wouldn't now buy the damn thing on principle since you're more concerned with sniping at potential customers than trying to win business - had it been me I'd have come back with an offer rather some schnide comment! keep it - I'm Done! *** UPDATE *** I bought LEMUR in the end which is miles better!
I use vst like wavestation from korg and cannot right direction for x direction
The app always says "no connection" - i can't sign up or even start a trial period. I wanted to buy some features, but then i realized - how the application will know that i bought them - there is "no connection". I tried it on both WiFi and LTE . I restarted an app several times and i even rebooted my phone. Other app that require internet-connection are working perfectly.
Used it for around 2-3 hours on some projects recently and seems to work very nice (I'm emulating it on a Surface tablet). Couldn't get the Pads to work but overall seemed great. Some constructive criticism - Devs should put a little description with what each in-app purchase does. I want all the features but I don't know if the Matrix purchase gives me that.
I love using this app with Ableton. Only have one complaint and it's that is seems that I can only send signal to my return tracks from track 1 to 10. Any higher and it says there are no return tracks when there clearly are. I would also like to see a browser and the ability to create tracks included in the future.
I was excited about trying this out, but I opened the app when disconnected from the Internet and it stated "trial expired or you are not connected to the Internet". I reconnected and closed and reopened app and it still said the same thing. I uninstalled and installed again then rebooted and I still received the message. Looks like a pretty intuitive app, I wish my trial could have been longer :/
I like this app. But just one minus. 1.you need to PAY for the full version and it wlud be nicer so you can connect your phone to the pc wiht a micro usb cabele. But Othevise i like this app
It's working - many thanks! Give me a week and I will update this review... Jamming with the studio from bottom of the garden! :-)
Only thing missing is a keyboard other than that it Works beautifully except for odd crashes sometimes just the app but sometimes restarts phone. same issues on galaxy S3 and LG G4. Great app tho. drumpad even has velocity sensitvity. PLEASE ADD A KEYBOARD!
The problem is that every screen tells me I'm not connected to the internet or my trial expired; I've never gotten a chance to try it, and apparently there is not actually a free version at all, but only a time-limited demo version, and once the time is up there's no way to use any features of the app. I tried a month ago and couldn't get it to work, so I did some research and thought I'd try again today but I guess there are no "free" functions available to test if the app is compatible -- is it the case that once the demo is expired the only option is to purchase something?
App doesn't work with iOSX 10.6.8 basically I have to buy iOSX 10.7 in order to be able to use LKBridge complement, that's awful!
This app is great. Considering the cost of hardware Ableton controllers the functionality you get from this app is exceptional for the price. Also, very prompt and friendly customer support. Thanks.
Runs smoothly easy to control while I perform with my team Vi Massive #Soca #Calypso
Brilliant app. Really maximised my live production capabilities
Always crashes after a couple of minutes. Sony Xperia Z Tablet. Win10x64. LKBRIDGE 3.1.5 <-> LoopMIDI <-> Ableton Live 9.6 x86 If it didn't crash this app would be amaaaaazing. 5 stars
Clearly there some some parts of this app that work with out a problem. However the problems really stand out. The midi controller knobs need a multiplier on the pull distance. You can't turn a knob fully with the amount of screen space you're allowed. The notifications bugged me the most. There is nothing free about this app, which is fair, just say it up front. There is so much more to Complain about, but it just isnt worth the time. Ultimately touch DAW is honest, has cost less and easier to work with.
Let me not deceive you. There are in-app purchases, but this app still have amazing functionality with the free. It's made so well though that I'm definitely going to purchase some of the add ons (prices are incredibly reasonable by the way) . This app has made my life so much easier and allowed me to get more done without moving around between my mouse and midi keyboard. All the main functions of session view are right here in the app and so much more! Well done to the team :)
Using the Midi Pads connected with Ableton Live as a soundboard, Using the Midi Controller sliders to manage my volume in VoiceMeeter Banana. I use it every day. Please allow a split screen view on tablets so you can have 2 controllers visible & maximize slider length where possible.
I liked this app a lot but I can't really connect it to my pc. Is it possible to connect it via a usb cable.
Using direct USB on Windows 8.1 w/ loopMIDI. Now a dedicated controller.
Midi map mode doesn't work at all for me!
After some time figuring out how to connect LK to the Bridge (not much tutorials on Windows systems) - I finally got it to work on Windows 7. (Customer support via FB very impressive - thank you for that) It worked as intended, quite spot on actually. My only problem is it KEEPS disconnecting with the Bridge! After which I have to restart my Live Set and restart the Bridge for LK to successfully connect with Ableton Live. Edit: Will email for troubleshooting.
It's working - many thanks! Give me a week and I will update this review... Jamming with the studio from bottom of the garden! :-)
This app is lovely. I have just one complaint that, can you please stop android discount notifications. I have already purchased this and i see the notifications as often as how a free adv. based application does. Thanks.
This is absolutely incredible, thanks to the LK team
Ableton Live 9.6 on Windows 7 x64. LKbridge opens but LK crashes on my Sony Xperia tablet and IPhone 5s. I've reported it and hope to one day use the app. Sucks that I'm going to miss my trial period on both devices smh.

UBridge continually loses connection to my device. It doesn't matter if I am.connected via WiFi or cable. I've not been able to reliably use it because of this issue. (Windows 10)
