DRC - Polyphonic Synthesizer for Android
Its great if you know to use it it might seem boring for 'em who are in a hurry to do or make music
Amazing synthesizer
Great synth program.
It's Awesome!
Really disappointed in the trial period. The patches/sounds were great but I waned to try them more before buying. And $6.95 is ridiculous to much. Maybe $5.00. Not happy.
Short trial period is suspicious and leads one to assume that the synth has very limited usefulness. Almost like you'd find out it isn't worth the money if the trial period were a few minutes longer. Was interested, got suspicious, ran away.
Great synth. Sounds amazing. There's only one thing I feel it's missing. If there was a 16 step sequencer in here, it would be hands down the greatest music app in the app store. Any chance this may be included in an update?
Searching Play Store for the best synth? Look no further. Easy to learn and use, flexible and versatile and above all great-sounding. Additionally, developers respond in milliseconds for every question.
Better if using tabs or wide screen smrt phone as some key too small. Good sound quality..endless sound generator. Good jobs guys
A synth app that sends me push notifications? no thanks, uninstalled.
Not even worked the trial. Now is locked.
Good but not what I'm looking for
Good
Great app! Since the last update however, the app crashes when using ARP module :-(
Surprisingly good. Oscillators are very clean
I would purchase the app if it didn't crash every 30 seconds.
Like the layout is easy enough to use seems like a good purchase to me
Cool n fun
A worthy synth to add to my meagre android collection - and the first to have me fearing for my speakers! HUGE sound. Lots of very nice presets in the paid expansion too. Negligible latency with kindle fire 7 inch and Miditech I2 Control 37 -black edition. Some bugs left: app won't close properly - have to kill the process after minimising. With midi KB a lot of presets sound continuously, sometimes stopping after pressing several keys together. Using Pitch wheel on midi kills sound and have to restart app
Here someone really knows how to use a touch based user interface, by far the best music app in that genre, and I have tried alot of them, both on IOS and Android. It also works beautifully on all screen sizes. Keep it up.
It's a really nice app but how do I record what I play? I would appreciate any help on this topic.
DRC is improving, fixing bugs. It's a funny good sounding tool
This a deep thang! Control options are fantastic. I notice a bpm but is there a drum beat facility? I can't seem to see it, if not add one and I will purchase as long as I can save my tracks. Great work Devs.
Glad to see a quality syntheziser on Android finally, everything works nicely, even on my old dual core, low memory device. I would be so happy if the arpeggiator had a programmable step sequencer though. Despite that, it's the best synth i have used on Android.
I am not able to detect MIDI clock message from ablenton live .. i am getting pulse form ablenton live through MIDI to USB cable (ROLAN MIDI cable) but APP not detecting it as clock message and not affecting tempo
Please make more synths I will buy!
Gat to Ooo sk8
I used this last week to add some depth to a live set I was playing, happily paid the price to keep it afterwards, will be getting much more use I'm sure
Love it!
I liked the idea of having a synth on my new smart phone, a Moto G3, but I think it's struggling. Quite a few of the factory presets crackle, especially on the release even with my volume turned right down. Turning of chorus seems to help a little. I perhaps should have trialled some more before paying for the full version. Otherwise I think this is a great app... [Update - I have reduced the sound quality as suggested and that appears to have worked. Thanks for getting back to me...
The oscillators are clean sounding, with some saturation and clipping that make them realistic. Low aliasing on the resonnance despite the low android sampling rate. Creamy, almost moogish 24dB LPF. Given the limited power of android devices, all this is a very nice surprise. Also, the two LFOs and modulation options give it a lot of versatility, and the preset show this. I just wish I could add some latency to remove the buffer overruns. But overall, certainely the best VA one can get on Android.
I love this app. Powerful and user friendly with a sleek interface. Would be a 5 star app except I am really sick of multiple daily advertisements from DRC that I receive, even if I don't use the app. I would accept an ad every time I open or close drc. I would be willing to pay for premium version if it came with a way to opt out of advertisements. But 3 pop-up adverts every day, even when I haven't used DRC for days is ridiculous and is the reason I will be uninstalling.
Didn't realise that it had a limited trial period. Wish that I had known because it had a great sound! Edit: thanks for the reply! I didn't get to mess around with it long enough to know if I wanna drop 10 bucks on it! Just a thought...
Love the app on my ipad and would love to buy it for my phone, but i get a glitchy distorted sound at the beggining of each note i play rendering it unusable. I am running it on my Samsung Galaxy s7. Could this be a buffer issue? I'd love to find a solution, this is a great app when it works properly!
I am getting the classic static / distortion on audio, some other android apps have done this in the past but usually there is a fix ? This is the only app I have which does this currently. Thanks.
Full of potential but the sound is very glitchy and "crackly" on my tablet. I'd definitely be willing to pay for the full version if that gets fixed. It seems like it should be awesome.
By FAR. This thing is incredible, it has some crazy features which you'd only ever fine on Windows or Mac synths. The amount of functionality from this app which not only looks amazing, sounds great and is FREE without any ads or upgrade nags is absolutely astounding. My favourite app on Android.
As a music producer and as a student, I found this app intriguing and satisfying at the same time!. Though I don't know what the Synth Engine can do, I'd ask you to add a record feature in the free version. Cheers, and thank you for this elegant app :)
The tones glitches when playing .. Like noise ... Can't even use this app because of this problem . The tones are fantastic , but its been disturbed by the bug .

Nice simple way to get into synthesis!
