About IWF SLAM
The Intercontinental Wrestling Federation (IWF) burst on the independent wrestling scene in 1997 in Tupelo, Mississippi. Within one year of its formation IWF Wrestling debuted its weekly wrestling television program named IWF Slam. The show featured local independent wrestling stars and also legends of professional wrestling.
After much success with the program on a locally televised basis IWF Slam moved to a primetime spot on a regional ABC affiliate. The weekly show garnered high ratings on a regular basis and quickly established a loyal following. With the success that came with the ABC regional affiliate IWF Slam was then picked up by a regional Fox affiliate in the Memphis Tennessee market.
The IWF SLAM TV program is currently seen in the Mid-South area on a regional CBS affiliate.
