About The Wild Within - VR Cardboard

Destination B.C.’s The Wild Within is an interactive, 360* video that allows travellers to experience the pristine coastal wilderness of British Columbia, Canada in a truly immersive way using Google Cardboard.

You will journey through the Broughton Archipelago of the Great Bear Rainforest, located between the mainland and Northern Vancouver Island. Choose from 2 distinct paths: one explores the coastline, while the other heads up into the alpine to explore glacial waterfalls. These experiences are an iconic representation of British Columbia.

This is a simple demonstration using Google Cardboard, no movement or buttons are used.
Simply sit back, chillax, look around and enjoy the VR experience.

Works fine with my Google Cardboard, and makes great use of the button to control the experience -- for example, you have a choice of the boat trip or an alpine hike, and you make the selection with the button. The downside of that is that if you have a headset without a button, you'll have it open it up and tap on the screen to make choices. My only complaint is that the camera jumped around too much -- one minute you're in the boat, the next hovering in the air above the boat. Made me a little dizzy. There were also times when the camera seemed to drift, even while your head was standing still. This didn't help! Otherwise, though, stunning images and would have been a nice, relaxing app if its wasn't the motion issues.

No visuals, just a black screen after I press 'tap to play'. Great idea, shoddy execution, it seems.
