SmartShaker+ (Plus)

I run the iLuv SmartShaker 2 off of an LG G5 and it works absolutely perfect! Exactly what I was hoping for! Works great and I absolutely love it! I'm a super heavy sleeper and I've always had trouble waking up with simple alarm clocks, but the SmartShaker 2 has been such a blessing! Absolutely love it!

You need to replace the app programmer. Hire a pro and TEST on multiple might phones. My high school grandson could do better.

The app is awful, the background keeps glitching and my Rainbow 7 doesn't do what I set it to do when the alarm goes off.

The device constantly un-pairs if I set the alarm for more than 6 hours past the current time. The alarm has consistently failed to go off under these circumstances.

The new tutorial and UI is a huge improvement but the app should be more clear on wether the alarm setting have been synced to the device and if a Bluetooth connection needs to remain when sleeping.

Smartshaker works fine, but app needs to work without pestering the user for Bluetooth or location. What does it even use the location for?

Why do you need the location, under the pillow should be enough...

The app needs a lot of fixation. When the shaker alarms and I want to snooze or stop via app, the app most of time fails to detect the alarm device and therefore the snooze notification does not pop up on my mobile screen. After few attempts, the mobile app does detect the alarm device and therefore able to snooze it or stop the alarm. Main problem is most of the time the app fails to detect the device automatically and immediately after starting the app. Sometimes although the app detected the device but the snoozing option does not pop out. Please fix the problems. Other than that the vibration is real good for waking up.

Terribly designed app, other people have already said why yet the developers clearly can't be bothered to fix it.

Great tech but relies on bad app

I bought this to help me wake up rather continue hitting the snooze. I've now tested it two nights in a row and both mornings I've woken up without issue. Plus side, no need to blare the radio go wake up anymore. Now with that being said, many have mentioned the app needs work. I do agree, it does. The "save" bar wouldn't go away the first time around some how it cleared. Pairing was super easy, searched for it, found it and paired with it. Setting the alarms was easy and smooth. Save the vibration setting. Update, recent updates have changed the snooze from minutes to seconds. Plz fix this.

It would be better if the app included the option to have the smartshaker 2 vibrate when you receive a phone call or text message or notification.

Both the smartshaker and 2 both suck. Customer service sucks on the phone and smartshaker 2 app sucks just as bad and freezes. $50 down the friggin drain. Instructions appear written by a child or somewhere overseas

App is garbage and smart shaker isn't for heavy sleepers because it's vibration is only 2% or 3% stronger than my Galaxy phone which is useless.

Love the device...hate the app. Would appreciate a fix. The app crashes often.

Can't snooze or stop alarm with the app witch make the DEVICE USELESS for me cuz I have to turn off the device to stop it.

I experienced some difficulty because I couldn't get the red "Save" banner to disappear, but then I realized it was just a notification that it hadn't synced and when it does, it disappears. I originally experienced choppy movement when rolling through the time changer for the alarm on my Droid Turbo but it has either stopped doing that from switching to a Galaxy S5 or iLuv did an awesome update during the brief time I didn't use the app switching phones. Five stars for the ease of use and attractive GUI.

Didn't want to save changes on the iluv smart shaker plus but it did fix the older one snark shaker.

It just doesn't seem to sync with the app. I'm going to be returning the alarm.

Shaker vibration cant be adjusted via app. Interface is confusing to new users. App cant be set as default so you can't use"OK Google, set alarm for XXX"

I've been using this app with my smart shaker for a while and it has worked fine except for having to choose vibration level every night. But now that's fixed and it stays on level 3. But now the smart shaker will not connect to phone to save changes to alarms. I press save it says to hold snooze so I do that it vibrates then won't let me click ok on the box so I have to back out and it doesn't save changes. It also won't vibrate if I hold the snooze button unless I'm in the menu that tells me to hold it .

You need to have location on

This app is not intuitive, and it continually crashes. The device is advertised as having three vibration settings along with being super loud. I can't get the thing to save any vibration setting other than default and the sound continues to revert to the default as well. Sometimes it will save a different sound selection but mostly it reverts to default. The device is worthless to me without being able to change the settings on the app.

no vibration level to select....turn to highest volume but don't find it loud...smart phone is louder than iluv shaker2!

Lacking many key features. Pairing being the most glaring omission even after updating to the latest version, it does not work. Not user friendly or intuitive. Would still not recommend

It crashes so frequently. Does not sync updates easily. The ui could be more intuitive.

Keeps crashing without oppening

The software does not walk the user through anything as advertised. The screen is jittery and the interface is barely useable. I'm very disappointed.

I like it so far but you have no way to delete alarms. Please advise. And the device doesn't have an instruction manual it says to refer to the app. Which doesn't show a manual option at all.

Can't sync half the time, won't save options (ex: set alarm to have level 3 vibration, saves it as level 1 no matter what; won't keep sound option). Opens 2 windows and crashes even if I haven't touched it. Didn't notify me that my snartshaker2 was dead / needed recharge. Can't delete alarms... the device is great, I just wish I could use it like I'm supposed too...

The worst app I have ever used: cannot copy/duplicate alarms, battery remaining indicator is inaccurate, cannot quit app, alarm somehow turned off after app update, cannot set weather location manually, have to scroll through clock numbers instead of typing them in, continually asks to turn on GPS and Bluetooth, background colors make it hard to tell which days are active, frequently crashes. I uninstall the app in between when I need to change my alarm.
