QCMS SECR BILASPUR SETTLEMENT

Presentably Bilaspur Railway Settlement is spread over 1100 acres of land area. Total number of quarters is 4177, which includes 1958 Type I , 1603 Type II , 302 Type III , 213 Type IV and 101 Type V. There are 81 nos. of service buildings. Some important service buildings are Bilaspur Railway Station , GM office building, DRM office building , CAO (Con) office building, central hospital, control building, coaching depot, BCN depot etc.

Bilaspur Railway Settlement has well defined roads and drains network. It is much green in comparison to bilaspur city and has a rich feel of green environment. Quarters are in good shape except some very old quarters, which are being replaced on planned basis. The main source of water supply is under ground water. Water is being utilized in very precise manner seeing the scarcity of water. There are two nos. of water recycling plants for the same. There are three nos. of sewage treatment plants also and treated water is used for gardening and cleaning purpose.
