AmpliTube Free/SamsungProAudio

I love the desktop version, and was really excited to hear that this would be available for android. It's simply AMAZING to be able to have it as a VST for a DAW on my phone, while hearing it play back in realtime. I am using a focusrite scarlett 2i2 (via micro usb converter), which I'm very happy with and would not consider trading for another interface just to record on mobile. Unfortunately it can't handle more than one track without crashing. Once this becomes a little lighter this will be great.

I liked it so much I even spent $6 for the metal amp. 5 stars! I have the cheap iRig that plugs into your phones headphone port. Sounds great. All others either had latency, crackling or other issues. This works great for my needs. If you're having issues hearing it turn off the auto stop for feedback in settings.

This app DOES NOT deliver as promised. I made an expensive bundle purchase. The app uninstalled itself, no joke. It closes when I am using it. I am using it on a Samsung edge 6. Dont waste your time.

Doesn't work. Gives a message that needs Android version 5.0. I thought that it is required for some of Samsung Smartphones. Mine is from another brand. And I ask my self why do they need Android version 5.0 for one and not for the other?. I just click close the message and open again the App and, well, the message went away and I can use the App, sort of. When the App open it asks to plug the iRig. As I was just installing for latter test with the iRig from a friend I was expecting it worked with my hands free headset but surprise, surprise, No Sound.

Doesn't open, Did the first time and I paid the extra for the distortion preset. Now my phone does nothing but crash every time I try to open the app

For one, my iRig Acoustic has absolutely no Android of any kind, though it clearly said it did on Amazon when I purchased. I also bought the iRig2 for Electric, it said Pixel again. Not a thing in Google Play or the iK site will run iRig2 on Android. ### Update, I bought an old antique Nexus 7 to see if it will work. Stay 'tuned'....

I'm a bass player who has had an iRig for a while but didn't have a compatible phone to use this app on (first of many problems). Then when I finally get the correct phone, turns out all of the bass features are locked behind a ridiculous paywall. I can use the app perfectly fine as a guitar amp but it doesn't sound good at all on a bass. Just the fact that they've blocked the bass features is really annoying and frustrating. Overall, unless you're willing to dish out more money than a desperate junkie, forget this weak excuse of a cash trap.

Noise filter works like a charm. Just got a couple pedals and I'm shocked how good the effects are. It seems like I found a great tool for getting ideas out on-the-go for my Android phone

uninstalled the app and installed it several times. it crashes everytime I try to use another amp. Without the app irig2 doesn't work. To use the app u have to reinstall the app. Headache app. Tech support never answer.

Says I need latest Android lolipop. I have android 6.0. It just needs to be updated by developer. Please update so I can use my irig 2! Has this app been abandoned?

Devices that don't work apps that don't work hardly easy to use or anything decent that's free I might as well carry my effects pedal and amps around as that's far cheaper and easier to do

Wrong OS detection, fail to load on Android 6. Bought iRig but have no app to use it with, worst spent money ever.

Not really got into all the effects and functions yet but really impressed with how easy it was to set up with irig2 into my old galaxy note 3 (lollipop). No sense of any lag. Now can play anywhere in the house without having to drag my pedalboard around and find a plug socket. So in terms of just practicing has made it a lot easier and sounds reasonable too.

I also am annoyed at all the popups even though i bought the whole irig and amps and pedals. Please fix would give 4 stars if fixed and i cant really tell much difference in the amp models i use line 6 products and the sound very close to there models. Please fix and i will give better ratings. Thanks

I tried every thing possible to make this app work on android with no luck. The ios version of this app works perfectly but for Android there is no sound. The only thing that plays are the demos! I'm going to try something else for my droid.

I have purchased the irig gadget and was excited to downllad app. Have struggled to register produc and then i thought i would just get to the juicy part. I went and spent some money on a bundle of effects and amps which have now dissapeared. All in all time waste and money not well spent...

The adverts are really annoying, is there anyway to stop them, o already have the Irig hd-a why does it keep ask8ng me if u want to buy it!!! Also i want to get the rest of the amps etc, in the free app you can buy the bundle for under £7 or you can pay £15 for the full version, seems to be a bit of a crazy price difference or is there a big difference that o havent spotted ?

Doesnt work with android so effectivity this is false advertising, sent numerous messages/emails to the "support team" to no avail. Got fobbed off by one person i emailed then received nothing from any "support team" this seems to me like they are just another company trying to make as much money as possible at the expense of the consumer. Dont waste your money on the app or the interface, mines going on ebay! IK prove me wrong and reply to my emails!

Bought an iRig 2. On both of my phones (z5c running 6.0, another phone running stock lollipop) it refuses to start saying it requires lollipop or later. Sack your developers and get competent ones in.

All of these amp sim apps suck but this was the worst of the three I tried. I'll stick with my mxr cc,budda wah,and hardwire metal all true bypass play with the real thing. U guys make so many apps, have u guys ever thought about making just one good one? o and i bought an irig a few months back, loved it for the short time that it worked i know to stay away from anything that has ik media on it u suck

Just bought the irig hd-a. Was very excited about the product since it was exactly what I was looking for. However as soon as I started using it it crashed 3 times in a row. Totally unreliable above all if you want to use it for live performances. Besides that, the continuous pop ups are incredibly annoying.

The app has feedback when connected to my note 5, theres no corresponding app for my Samsung tablet, the pop ups are a nuisance, and I am getting a lot of distortion. I am searching for a better interface.

Paid for my irig stomp and the app won't open just keeps crashing. Expensive hardware and then a really expensive app needed to use it rip off

Used on android .experienced bad latency. Upgraded pedal for $12.57.app crashes upon start up every time now.Dont bother.i didn't expect much but wow what a waste. Oh and registration code from box didn't work I rig 2.be better just plug ing into small cheap multieffects with head jack.

This has to be the most annoying app I have, pop up after pop up. I have now bought an amp so I don't have to use this product any more

Too many glitches for Amplitude Samsung app on Galaxy Note 5: 1) App hangs when Settings is selected. 2) All preset titles are gone (all previous settings are still intact). 3) Retain settings doesn't work. I've also tried reinstalling twice. Noise level is way too high and seems to be related to position of iRig related to other appliances. Meanwhile, the same app for iPad works flawlessly.

I can't get any apps to work with my iRig 2 using my galaxy s5 are they non compatible?

The sound quality is complete rubbish. Every extra pedal cost a min $5 AU . I DON'T THINK I'VE UNINSTALLED AN APP QUICKER THAN THIS ONE!

Was never told it wouldn't work with Android phones. Total waste of money for the device. I'm uninspired by this!

All of a sudden it doesn't work at all. Any time I open the app, I just get an error reading "error connecting to audio service. Close app and retry"

Does not work reliably on my old Samsung Note 3 and new Note 5. it crashes often and i have to keep reinstalling the app. then i have to like re-register it or something for it to remember i paid extra for the full Amplitube bundle. It has multiple nagware popups everytime you start the app that won't go away even after paying for the extra stuff. IK Multimedia's customer service is email based only and they NEVER got back to me, GRRR! i only kept it because I got it working pretty good on my work PC.

I can't believe I fell for this? Spent good money on the irig,only to find that it sounds like a totally annoying, tin cup sounding,child's toy. I would've sent it back already, but my girl bought it for me as a present. I can't bring myself to tell her what an utter waste of hard earned money she threw away, because I was fell for the deceptive marketing.All this app managed to do is Just take up useful space on my Galaxy 4. Shame on you Irig,/IK Media...you'll never get me again.

I have samsung j2 with OS android 5.1, but everytime i opened this it say please upgrade your OS. It's need OS 5.0 or later. R U kidding me?

Great concept but it isnt reliable. The app is no longer opening on my phone. Please either fix this or refund me the money. Thanks

Updated my review had the app a week and bought bundle +irig2 , took an up date , and 14 pounds worth of bundle has vanished put of app ????? What's going on guys , I emailed you with zero response , !!!!!!!!!!! As I work free lance for some guitar and music mags , I would like to assume your company are all over this , for me and it seems a few others , I would hate to drop a bum note on your product ,

I have a older ipad with the complete original irig/amplitube package and love it (spent $80+++) . Use it for several gigs, practice, recording. Etc... i switch my phone to Android s6 and barely get any functions have ro spend more $$$ and more noise
