All in all okay, but I have challenges with the gateway. It often takes a long time to connect to it or the connection drops. There seems to be no stable background activity. Also I wish the whole system would support Google Home and the moods could be set automatically. Also, when not in my home and connected to my WiFi i cant access the system, but if I connect to any WiFi I can.. Good start but some way to go.

NB If your gateway keeps disconnecting, like mine did. Its a hardware problem. So get a new one. It's a great start of a promisingly bright future. Hope they are gonna build up on this success. App itself is over simplified. At this point its just a nice bonus to the light's remote control.

Easy to configure, could setup in just few minutes. Would love to see more features added to the app like a Dashboard which can show how many devices are currently connected and how many are on and off. I know it is too early to expect these features but would love to have it, also it would be great if they build the feature of showing how much each connected device consumes the power and what is the overall power consumption on a daily basis.

Basic app I'm sure more functionality will come in time. I found that if the bulb doesn't connect to the gateway re-pair the controller to the gateway and bulb is there immediately. It also cured the update that was stuck on update pending.

When I first got it I liked it a lot and quickly expanded my setup. Now the gateway keeps disconnecting and I can not control anything. Tried resetting everything but it doesn't help. IKEA support tells me returns don't apply to digital products such as the gateway so they recommended me to buy another since I already have 7 bulbs and 5 remotes. NOT going to happen. Seriously disappointed.

Looses connection to gateway constantly. Gateway has to be paired again and again. Tried with 2 different gateways, same result. Widgets would be awesome. System stability seems fragile. Better guide and faq in-app needed.

Works fine on android 7, but cannot connect to the gateway after about an hour on android 4.2. If you try and manually enter the serial number i.e. the mac address, the app rejects it with the message that the serial number should be 16 chars. Oh dear, the serial number on my gateway is 17 chars. A review is not the ideal way to submit a bug report, but i dont know of another way. Hopefully, the dev team are monitoring the reviews.

None of the three moods actually uses the white light the lamps can emit. (I am not sure if this is maybe not a bug) The remotes now circle through moods instead of light colors. The preconfigured moods can not be changed. So now after adding a white light mood I have 4 different selections on the remotes instead of 3 where 2 selections only differ in intensity. There should be an option for the moods to not change the intensity and we should of course be able to edit the preconfigured ones. There is also no all off button. The setup is a bit work intense as it requires to reset and relink all remotes to the lights. If you already have a lot of lights this is quite annoying.

Great app, some issues but fixable. Not sure if development of widgets is in progress but that could benefit the user greatly, allowing quick access to groups of lights etc without needing to start the application.

The app doesn't work on Android 7.1.1. It crashes when scanning the QR code, which means that I can't properly use the lightbulb I payed a lot of money for. I will update the review once that problem is fixed (Older Android versions work fine, but I don't want to grab my old phone every time I want to turn on my lights)

Really nice and easy app to configure things but why can't I remote control my lights over the Internet when away from my WiFi? Also, will there be a 220v relay so we can control other lamps?

Helt okej funktionalitet just nu. Enkelt att komma igång. Skulle gärna se integration med Google Home, Google Assistant och IFTTT. Hade varit smidigt med ikon-genvägar, widgets och en på-/av-switch som en "tile" i framtiden.

Good tech using standards for communication, now we need Google Home and Google Assistant integration. At the moment I wish I could add more than 1 remote to the same group (its easier to have 2 remotes around and reach for 1). I wish I could create a group with lights that also belong to other groups (for instance 1 light belonging to 2 or more groups).

Works great with some minor glitches and disconnects here and there... Widget support and Tasker integration would be nice!

I like the bulbs but the app constantly disconnects from the hub and is totally unreliable. :(

The app works great, although I wish the colour temperatures weren't presets that were locked. Hoping this changes in a future update.

Moving devices between groups doesn't work. I'd like to be able to sort the devices and moods. Had no issues adding or configuring devices.

Wonderfully simple, works well out of the box. Just needs alexa compatibility and we're cooking with gas!

Keeps disconnecting after adding over 5 devices.. very unstable

Please add support for IFTTT. Add widgets for shortcuts.
