About bVNC: Secure VNC Viewer

Please support my hard work and GPL open-source software by buying the donation version of bVNC from Google Play. You can use this fully-featured version of bVNC for free for as long as you want with no strings attached.

If bVNC doesn't work for you, before writing a review, please post your question in the forum:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/bvnc-ardp-aspice-opaque-android-bb10-clients

See below for instructions for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

If you need an RDP application, please search for aRDP in Google Play. In addition, a SPICE client named aSPICE is available. Finally, if you are an oVirt, RHEV, or Proxmox user, check out Opaque.

Great app

This is literally the best VNC app I've ever used I use it with TightVNC on a Win 10 and Ubuntu client and it just does it job very well...the connection is reliable and stable, even over mobile data. At some point my mouse pointer wouldn't show up in Windows 10 (probably a TightVNC Problem), but activating the local mouse pointer eliminates that problem for me. I appreciate that there are different modes for mouse movement, as I prefer the simulated touchpad mode. The controls are intuitive and easy to use

Absolutely fantastic! Was trying many versions to use with my bluetooth keyboard with touchpad and BVNC was the only one that worked. Just got the pro version. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

C70%

Superb. Very lean, easy to use, no registration nor ads. Perfect!

C70%
by C####:

Simply does the job and does it well.

C70%

All important features for me are working: mouse/touchpad control, right click, special keys like CTRL on HW keyboard (ASUS TF300T dock), tunnelling via SSH. The other VNC viewers were always missing something important, this one has everything necessary.

by P####:

I'm trying to connect to a TightVNC server on a raspberry pi. The app doesn't allow me to specify a virtual desktop to connect to, so I can't connect. Normally when using TightVNC, you connect with an address like 192.168.1.100:1::5600 where the 1 after the first colon is the monitor number and the 5600 after the double colon is the port. The connection help makes no mention of TightVNC while the app description says support is included for it. I will change this review if the developer can add proper instructions in-app for TightVNC

I got the same cryptic error message using all VNC clients. As the only one, this actually told me the exact command I should run on the server to fix it.

Great, simple VNC client software. Works flawlessly with Linux Mint host running default desktop sharing utility. If you need to move away from the RealVNC product, this is an outstanding alternative.

C70%

Easily the best and most intuitive VNC app available. I have been waiting so long for a good VNC app and now I have this amazing piece of work!

C70%

You need to quit updating this app. Every time you do it don't work right for 2 weeks. When it starts to work good again you decide to update it again. Makes it very frustrating when I can't connect

Used to use remote ripple but this is so much more usable. I am going to get the paid version soon to get rid of the ads. magic

excellent VNC app for tablet and smartphone. it supports VNC over SSH. it would be really sweet if it had a full screen mode for use in Samsung DeX Station

Works better than VNCViewer when used with Mac OS X vnc server. Speed is decent, controls are fairly intuitive though more unorthodox than others. Try this if you want a platform agnostic viewer.

C70%
by C####:

Excellent... it helped me to connect to a Mac virtual machine. a great job!!! thank you to the developer/s. It helps a lot. Awesome utility to work and IMPROUVE PRODUCTIVITY and helps to resource management, and a more efficient use of resources ( I think it saves you the need of having Monitor Screen, keyboard and mouse for every machine you have access or own)

Works well. Program is not too pretty but usability is ok. When host key changed in SSH connection I had to make a new connection and again put in all data. This happened after importing config to a new phone.

Does everything I need! Thanks for keep screen awake mode: I use my tablet as a statistic viewer, and it comes in handy.

At first, I thought that the mouse interface was peculiar and I'd just eventually figure it out, but the real dealbreaker was when I pressed the backspace key and nothing happened.

This app is very useful for Linux desktop users. I am able to use it with my Ubuntu desktop which is running in Full HD resolution without a hitch. I think this app can be much better if they smooth out a few things including the UI/UX. Overall a great app, highly recommend it.
