****WiFiShare brings WiFi-Direct like functionality on lower version of Android, it also enables to send large size files to multiple people at a time****
WiFiShare is an innovative mobile app which enables adhoc file transfer between two or more android phones. It uses wireless hotspot technology provied by today's phones to do file transfer and does not depend on any intermediary infrastructure. Using WiFiShare, files are transferred in few steps with a transfer speed of 1.5-2.5 MBps. We have built two different apps to cover nearly all Android based phones.
1. WiFiShare (works on all devices beyond Android 2.3)
2. WiFiShare Client (Works on devices from Android 1.6)

I've tried about 10 apps and this is the ONLY one that allows me to share files with my Asus Transformer TF300T Tablet using only the network from the WIFI hotspot on my phone and my phone in airplane mode to limit my tablet using my cell data plan. I had to sideload the app on my tablet because it says it's not supported for the TF300T. That may be why I couldn't clear the notifications after file transfers were complete. Also, you can only transfer individual files and not folders so I had to use ES file explorer to ZIP some files up first. 5 stars once it's supported for the TF300T and allows folder transfer. Good job folks!

This app deserves *****(5 Stars). Airdroid,Open Garden + 4 more apps failed to deliver. Some of them failed to configure, which configured failed to connect even for the first time; forget about delivering, cud not even initiate the transfers. This app not only configured in both devices correctly in the first time also "worked as smooth as silk". Pls don't go for apps posted jargons, this one simply works with a blink of your eye. Supporting the Mucresearch@IIITD!!GREAT JOB DONE! 5***** again, nothing less

Does not work properly with 3gp files sending, not good in muli files, sometimes not quit easily, but it is the best one in all app in this field
