iHome Sleep

I just bought the iC50 today and that it self seems to work as expected. I then installed iHome Sleep for android and noticed that no weather us being displayed and that I couldn't view social media (facebook) as the app said it was capable of doing. I have already emailed technical support and will change my rating according to what the technical support team can tell me about my issues. EDIT I have waited the past 3 or so weeks now with no response of a fix or any other instructions. Last reviewed in 2014, it is now 2017 with no change. Great job i home. Glad to know that you value your android customers just as much as you iphone ones.

As well as all the problems I've read that other people had, it also shut off the dock alarm without making a sound. Luckily I had a back-up alarm or I would have totally slept in. Tried Alarm Clock Plus as another suggested and it seems MUCH better. Will uninstall the iHome garbage and see if that redeems the dock; if not, that's being returned too.

I'm very disappointed in the droid version of this app. The iOS version is way better and actually works the way it should. This version it doesn't matter if you're in bedtime mode or awake mode the alarm still goes off. There's no point in having the slider on this app if its not going to control anything. Don't get this app if youre used to the iOS version. You will be just as disappointed as I am.

Nothing worse than waking up to an alarm that won't turn off no matter what... Until I pull the battery. And now I can't go into the app to shut the alarm off so for the past two days I've had to pull the battery upon waking up. Terrible app that I have to delete just to turn the alarm off.

The version for the iPhone was definitely better. The snooze button doesn't work. No matter what it is set for it never goes off again, luckily i don't use solely rely on this app to wake up. The lack of ihome zen sucks, the preloaded sleep sounds are terrible. This needs updating.

Aside from the title, here are my complaints: 1. Can only play music from your phone via the included audio cable, and it must be plugged into the phone's headset jack. 2. The audio cord is too short. 3. The usb connector to the phone is not stable (left to right motion). 4. The base only offers a SINGLE alarm. 5. Did I mention the app is NOT SYNC'D WITH THE BASE? This is not any better than my HTC alarm.

Weather app doesn't work. Seemless interface to the ihome clock doesn't seem to work. Limited alarm sound selection from phone library. At least the app was free.

On the iOS version you can select a number of songs to fall asleep to and another set to wake up to. On this version you can select only one song to fall asleep to (or choose the build-in sounds like rain, ocean etc) and one to wake up to. You can´t select a playlist as far as I can see. The backgrounds are so, so. The design is so,so (as is the iOS version). You can´t switch statistics off, but you can of course ignore them. I won´t buy the iHome hardware as I am unlikely to use this app. I rate it 2.5 stars but have not tested it as I am using my iPod with speakers instead.

I have been using this app for a while as recommended and it was pretty good but I noticed that when it us open it prevents the phone from going to "sleep". I wasn't worried about it until this morning when I noticed it has started to burn the image of the app permanently into my S4's screen. Beware of this!

Just switched from the iPhone to android and this app pales compared to the iPhone version. Why can I not link my tune-in to this ? Why does the weather portion just scroll like it's searching when my location is enabled etc.? Was one of my favorite apps on iPhone. Now I think it'll be deleted unless this gets an update.

Useless. You are ripping off customers who buy the alarm assuming they can wake to their own music and a weather report. Does not work with Samsung 3. Please fix this or recall the useless alarms!!!

I have the iC50 clock radio. I totally agree with all the other reviews! This app is useless without any of those features and sync with app. Would be a great app if music and audio could be connected through the microUSB port (instead of clumsy AUX cable)!

I bought the alarm clock thinking it would work on the unit with the phone, was highly disappointed that the alarm clock is separate and you still have to use the controls on the phone. The other issue is that the sound from the alarm clock worked for a while , but now I cannot even play music on the alarm clock.

Every aspect of this app is great. The only problem with it is the weather doesn't load properly on my Nexus 4. This is a big feature for me because I am a huge weather fanatic. Please fix.

Setting wake mode shuts off my screen and won't let it wake up again, have to battery pull to reset phone. Also menu button doesn't work. Galaxy Nexus.

You should be able to wake up to and fall asleep to a playlist. Nobody wants to fall asleep to the same song playing over and over again.. and it'd be way nicer if I could wake up and get ready to a playlist!

I bought a dock several years ago and loved the Apple version of this app. In the description it says it restored menu button, but did not... So can't set an alarm, whats the use of an alarm app that alarms can't be set in?

everything works right up until the point where the alarm should go off, at which point it doesn't. very bad

This app SUCKS! Doesn't work. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

Can not get this app to work. Can't EVEN find the menu icon so that I can setup an alarm. Sad VERY SAD

Contacted customer service over two weeks ago No response. I do not reccomended the clock or the app. Not in Canada.

This app hasn't seen any update in forever. Now it's unusable with samsung phones because your can't set alarms. It says to add alarm, "use menu button". Umm, there is no menu button anymore!!! Good grief. Just use a different app.

Got the ik50 and nothing works on it. Hell when the app cant even get the weather to work out here in Los Angeles. Ya know its just pureawfulness!

Instead I just hear the alarm buzz even though I adjusted to wake up to music, even after using both options for music play on alarm wake up. Did not work for Droid 4 then or my galaxy s5 now

Cant use it on my galaxy s5, there is no menu button to add an alarm. I used this for years on my other phones and im very upset that i cant use it on my galaxy!!!! Whats worse is that i have not received a response from the developers. This company used to be rock solid, now they absolutely suck!!!!!

This app needs to be updated. There is no menu button to setup the alarm. I was unable to register, and the weather will not display.

When app was first released, it did exactly what it said that it would do. Since then, there have been no updates to speak of, the weather doesn't load, and now, can't use on Galaxy S5 (no menu functions).

App doesn't have any way to set alarm. Don't know if it's a compatability issue with my galaxy s5, but it says to Kress menu to set and there is no menu button

The app has some great features and a lot of customization for an alarm app. Would be perfect if you could sync it up with Rhapsody, iHeart radio, Pandora, etc... Also should be able to recognize & automatically start up once docked into the iHome alarm clock. Fix those two items and it's 5 Stars!

The andriod version snooze feature does not work. It needs a fix for that. Otherwise it's an ok app.

This app would be a five star if you could select multiple songs to sleep to.. or if you child chose playlists. also, the dimmer doesn't quote go dim enough. Otherwise great app.

It doesn't do what is claimed except record when you input your sleep and wake times by touching a screen input. Maybe they will add some function later.

I purchased an iHome IC50 alarm clock. Thought that this program would integrate with it. This program is a stand alone Alarm Clock. Don't need another app on my phone for that. Would be nice if the app would allow multiple alarms on the base to allow for multiple alarms as the IC50 is a single alarm unit.

Bought this iC50 system and it won't let me use my music. This is stupid.
