About Vertical Speed Indicator

A software variometer. This application estimates climb/descent rate using statistical analysis (linear regression) of barometric sensor data and displays it on a dial indicator. Does not need weather information to work.

Tried it while flying. It was erratic and inaccurate. Told me I climbing during a dive. Edit: Just landed, tried the alt static source acft VSI underread but stable. App continued to be erratic I'm afraid.Samsung S3

Does what it says, though would be useful to calibrate - especially automatically through inferometry with GPS speed, ie. Total Energy ;-) As someone else has proposed, it would be absolutely fantastic integrated with Accurate Altimeter.

Does exactly what it says it does. It would be nice if this program was intergrated with the author's other one (Sensitive Altimeter), perhaps as a pointer moving around the outside or a tape in landscape mode. But great as it is!
