There are apps we can use to check into restaurants, to post status updates, and to see our friends
photos. But is there an app that we can use to engage our Catholic faith? Is there an app that we can
use to live, share, and track our Catholic faith?
Ignio is the only Android app that enables us to form a Christian community with which we can engage
our Catholic faith. Jesus had twelve followers – his disciples. He built this community in order to teach
and live His life in a way that could ultimately change the world forever. Inspired by Christ Himself, Ignio
lets you share your spiritual life with a group of eleven close friends, the “Ignio Circle”, creating a unique
space for Christian community on a mobile app.
Ignio helps us live our faith by reminding us to pray, read Scripture, go to Mass, and much more. Ignio
helps us share our faith by enabling us to build a circle of friends, with which we can share our prayers,
share Scripture, bring to bear our personal witness, and much more. And, to help us keep at it, Ignio
tracks our spiritual progress via a personalized spiritual graph, and a virtual flame… The more we live
and share our faith on Ignio, the more colorful our spiritual map, and the brighter and larger our flame
becomes. And to ensure that we all build a deep community of friends, the only way we can start our
Ignio journey (i.e. turn on our flame) is by inviting at least one friend into our Ignio Circle.
As Christians, we are called to profess and share our faith. Through our Ignio Circle, we are able to live,
share, and track this calling.

Installed this after a recommendation from a Catholic magazine, but have been trying to sign up for 5 & 1/2 hours now, and it simply will not allow me to sign up. I would be happy to give it a better rating, if I could see what it actually does!

The candle lighting is such a beautiful symbol. Too bad I am the first person in my area with the app. Guess there is no point in gettimg other users on until I have it lit.

I wonder if it is possible to have additional candles we can chose from with android as my friends seem have extra candles with their iphones. Great app nonetheless! Thank you

Flame reverts to tiny each day. Doesn't represent true commitment. No consideration for additional prayer, Hail Mary, Novenas, Rosary, etc. Needs MUCH MORE effort in the workings.

I love it. I've added to friends. Hint, you have to set up your full profile with address. Im having problem with the flame. I've bumped with my friends but the flame is so small that I didn't think it was lit.

Sounds good but doesn't work. I have the android version and it doesn't let me search for friends? I also see the same readings two days in a row. :-( I really wish it would work. Hopeful.

The app looks great and has good features but it keeps freezing and cant find any local churches. Will be back if these bugs get fixed

I have a droid RAZR m and no option comes up for me to bump. I can't find any way to light my candle. I think lighting should be automatic. There is enough motivation to find friends and be social-- to have the app be non functioning with no way to fix it is an extreme turn-off. I can't recommend this to any of my Catholic friends. I would use this app if there was a way to light the flame without bumping.
