I have purchased and installed both the Igloo Deadbolt door lock and Keybox The Good - being able to open lock with bluetooth "key" rather than entering the eight digit code - there was a support desk! - used email to access help with installation, etc - had to make this system failsafe for managing an Airbnb unit from afar so I also purchased the Igloo Keybox as a secure storage for the door keys in case the Deadbolt fails (due to dead batteries and/or cold). The Bad: - the app is painful to use - not intuitive - pairing the lock for the first time was painfull - spent a lot of time messaging the help desk (which did help but....) - no equivalent desktop app - guest has to download the Igloohome app to accept and use the bluetooth key - just experienced sending a bluetooth key that was schedule in the future -when the guest tried to download ahead of time it was expired before that future date - may not work if the temperature is very cold (per their documentation) my locks are installed in the Puget Sound, WA area - I have not experienced this but this will be my first winter using it. - some status information requires the app to be in proximity with the lock.
App does not log in to account on 2nd device. Indicates no working network connection. Tried on both wifi and 4G and still not working. Tried logging out from 1st device and not working too. How 'smart' and hassle free is this supoose to be again? Fix please. Update: app works fine now. Still has room for more seamless transitions. Still faced a bit of bluetooth connection om 1st gen igloo. But overall ok.
Sometimes in the logs, it shows the PIN code given has been used but most of the times, it didn't. There's something wrong bluetooth pairing to get updated logs.

Works great. Was hoping the app can lock remotely as well. Bluetooth is expected to take a few seconds to unlock. So that's not a problem. Is hoping for connectivity to Google Now a stretch?

The igloobolt2 keypad is not working well. Spent the last few weeks struggling to unlock. Keypad is flimsy coming off. Igloohome has confirm that needs replacement. Waiting for them to make arrangement.
Don't said use it, can't even pair it and when purchased heard only Bluetooth and no data connectivity.
The Bluetooth is not working very well. The software needs an update
Despite saying that app can work without internet connection, earlier version can never open and always hangs unless at home with Internet and standing in front of lock. New version of app asks for crazy permissions like my microphone?? And my call log?? As well as access to my photos??? WHY be so greedy? And don't say for future "features" that you haven't even thought of you. Not the way to build trust with customers especially since your product has to do with home security.
Below are the limitations: 1. Unable to view logs (bluetooth log for family only), if u asssign PIN to guests cant view their log in. Dont expect u can see who enter ur house and when (youtube video quite misleading) 2. Unable to implement auto lock each time lock opened manually, cant guarantee ur home locked when guests are out or inside (manual open) 3. Unable to deactivate/delete PIN remotely once assigned to guests, u will need to go to ur house to connect with it via bluetooth and delete.
Pls implement autolock for manual unlock or better yet after every door open event. Bluetooth unlock takes some time to detect. Suggest to implement alert notification when someone try to unlock during silent hour or designated duration (could be for.bluetooth mode only since I.know the current hardware unable to handle pin or manual unlock logging)
It will be great you guys can add an additional in app pin. Reason is that if the phone is not lock someone could launch this app and modify everything in this app
Bluetooth not working well, sometimes have to stand there and keep touching the keypad for almost few minutes.

Doesn't allow selection of guest pins (autogenerated), doesn't allow for downloading of a log of all access of the lock. Good concept but needs to be improved. Alot of potential for improvement.

Great layout and functional easy access. New pins should be sorted by date instead of numeric. Option to delete used or old pins should be made available
Since there's a need to run this app for the unlocking to work, may I suggest the developer to include widgets to go along with the app. Then this app will be perfect.
To open the lock using Bluetooth, you need to open the app and click unlock first. After that you need to press on the keypad to activate the lock to wait for the phone and the keypad to connect before unlocking. Takes too much time. The phone should start looking for the lock while we walk towards it and unlocks when we touch it.
Has made our airbnb welcome so much more convenient for our guests and for us as hosts. Great peace of mind, and saves us all the hassle we had with keys.
