About Screen Lock Pro
Screen Lock Pro, app for Android™ with screen off animation. It allows you to screen off and lock the device. Easy to use and saves power button usage. It just locks smoothly even in Android™ 4.0.x and above without screen flickering.
Animation speed is adjusted with “transition animation scale” and “animator duration scale” as set in your device. If you set it to .5x, screen off animation becomes faster, if you increase it, animations become slower. Our advice, use 1x for best screen off experience. Note that, on some devices the change take affect after locking and unlocking.
With the latest version (v2.0p) of Screen Lock Pro we have introduced support for “Smart Lock” feature specially for “Lollipop”. This feature is experimental and RnD is still on. Please try this and report your experience over email. We will work hard to make it better.
Even if experimental, “On off” feature is best for busy people, those who frequently checks email or receives messages. Just put the device on desk to screen off, picking up will wakeup screen, you don't need to slide or give password again and again. Time is money, save your time.
To screen off and lock the device you can:

But one thing does not work properly on my samsung j5 2016, the air swipe seems confused. Sometimes okay but sometimes lacking response. Overall, I found the shake lock and one tap lock very useful especially on saving your power button's ass. To the developer, just keep on improving this nice app.

Works great. Love the convenience, especially easy to use when in a car dash holder. The new animations are great. Would like to see them a little easier / quicker to access in the settings menu - would make it easier to try all the options - but that's a minor thing. Overall very well executed. It's now one of the first things I re-install on a new phone.

I had this on my previous phone and liked it enough to transfer it to my current one. However, running it on marshmallow with the fingerprint sensor on the Samsung gs6 - although it always turns the screen off, it sometimes won't lock it immediately - which has led me to inadvertently make calls or play music when I put the phone in my pocket. The app warns you of this (settings, use fingerprint sensor) - but it's been like that for a while now and I thought they would have fixed it with an update

Best smart lock app. After the new android update, no smart lock app was working, if you have fingerprint sensor on your phone, coz evrytime you have to put the pin and was not compatible with sensor. But this app worked wonderfully. Keep it up developer. Developer, kindly make other features in the app also compatible with the sensor. Thank you

The app works as it should and the previous problem I had got resolved but I would like to report a small issue. After using it for a couple of days, the app makes my system use 15 seconds screen sleep time and it turns my screen to the minimum brightness level. This happens only after restart of the device, so I have to go into settings and change them back. If I delete the app, settings remain as I set them, even after reboot. Not groundbreaking problem but still. Device: Xperia Z with OS : 4.4.4

***UPDATE 2: Crashes whenever long-pressing on keyboard for sub-characters. Still no response from dev. 2 stars until fixed.*** Only reason I don't give it five stars is because of the 10 second delay between the screen going black and the phone actually locking, as described in previous posts. Otherwise, it's a fine app to hold you over until Google resolves the locking issue with third party apps under MM.

I paid for the app. I like it. I am only rating it now in the hope that it will stop reminding me to rate it. Would have rated it higher had it not nagged me so much. UPDATE: Bitdefender no longer warns after October Screen Lock update.

Serious nag issue with Nougat 7.0. When long pressing the keyboard on a Samsung S7 Edge (default keyboard) the app force closes. This happens every time I long press on the keyboard, so it's extremely frustrating. I love the app itself, it gives me the double tap to power off that I became accustomed to on my old LG G3.

Keep it simple. There is a lot to learn about the Pro app. It does provide a work around for the double tap problems the G4 has. I use it with Nova Launcher.

Works well in Huawei Mate9 with Android 7.0. Placed lock screen widget on desktop, unlock by fingerprint without needing to use pin. Also have various option that e.g. can shake the phone to lock and unlock. Love it and I think that's the simplest lock screen app currently that does the trick. Although there is a few seconds lock screen delay(screen goes blank immediately after pressing the widget though), but swiping the screen at that moment does nothing, so it's ok.

What works well on this Moto E 2nd gen (Lenovo)/Android 6 are double tap widget, notification bar and horizontal desktop. The one improvement that would make it more functional for my purposes would be a toggle located in the notification bar to allow for quickly enabling/disabling the horizontal desktop feature, without having to go into Settings to do that.

After the last android update (note 5) the screen gets locked but won't unlock. I keep pressing the on/off button and in the end it turns on with the message " Unfortunately Screen lock has shut down" or something like that. This it happens for about 5 days now. Please fix it

My only complaints are that a) there's no whitelist feature (a list of apps that keep the device awake) and b) sometimes I have difficulty waking my phone up after letting it sleep -- I have to press the power button a few times before unlocking. Improve on these things for a better rating.
