This application is produced by The IG Club, one of the top academic advising organisations in the field of education and the top academic advisor for IGCSE candidates in the MENA and GCC region.
The purpose of this application is to help IGCSE candidates, parents and anyone who is interested to calculate the score of IGCSE in case of applying for Egyptian universities either government or private, using a formulae that is about summation of percentages of grades and dividing them by number of subjects.
In this calculator you will find the option to calculate your score with factor in case you are looking to apply for the American University in Cairo ( AUC) where they use a rule of best of 8 subjects, where AS Levels are multiplied by 1.5 and ALs are multiplied by 2.
After calculating your score you will find a list of universities and the qualifying percentages according to the previous year ( Tansik ) where according to this percentage it shows you the faculties you are eligible for in blue and the ones you are not in red.
Please note that every year the application results for university differs from the one before and it is not necessary to stay the same percentage or increase or decrease in a certain pattern, and this calculator is just to tell you what would be the result in the past if you got grades you entered.
