the app works great for basic banking. The only improvement I'd like to see would be in the photo check depositing. I always seem to have trouble getting it to accept the photo.

I have over draft my account a few times. One was $0.13 got charged a $30 fee. Another one a had 2 things coming out of my account the smaller one should of came out the day before the bigger one. When I seen the pending charges on on line banking of both I went to the ATM put money in to cover the smaller one it post that day then they released both charges on the same day and I got charged 2 $30 fees cause they took out the bigger one that should of came out the next day then they took out the smaller one which the money was in the account for. The laide who said she was the person in charge said we don't control how it comes out and she was very rude​and said well why did you over draft your account then. I should of only got charged one $30 fee. The last time I over draft my account the charge was pending on online banking so I drove up to the bank put the money in so it would clear with no over draft fee well of course the pending came off they took all the money out then charge me a $30 overdraft fee which the $30 over drafted my account. If you make mistake on over draffting your account this is something you might want to think about before choosing this bank. Just saying.

I wish this app would just show the available amount of how much you have instead of being in grey just show how much you have available Also I wish you are able to with one of your accounts put a lock on it so you can save money only way to unlock it is to go to your bank to unlock it

Zeal app developers are always improving the app to make it one of the most useful banking apps out there. They've responded via personal email to suggestions I've made here in the ratings. That shows that they're listening to their users and it's greatly appreciated. I like the recent updates to the app. The widget is very helpful but I don't know if I'll continue using it because my balances are always displayed. That's convenient for me but I'm leery of over the shoulder nosy folks lol. I'll keep it on my home screen for now, but may remove it later. I have a few suggestions as far as the widget is concerned. The tiled view, when going through multiple accounts, ends up off center in the widget as you get to the last tile. It looks a lil awkward. I think a gallery/stacked view would be better. What I mean is it should be like viewing pics with one account visible at a time. To view multiple accounts just swipe left or right. I believe it would look better and provide a larger presentation window for users to see account balances. Also, maybe there should be a "cover sheet" on the widget to thwart peeping Tom's and Jane's. I think the Zeal logo would be great as the "cover sheet" requiring the user to left or right swipe to begin viewing balances. It would give folks like me a peace of mind when using the widget out and about, or in front of my wife and kids who think I'm a living ATM. Being able to see account balances can be counter productive to the narrative of me always being broke when they ask for money. Oops, did I say that out loud...

I absolutely love Zeal :) and this app has done wonders it's not laggy and it doesn't have any annoying ads. I always feel safe using the app.

I would love to be able to transfer funds from this account to another account @ a different financial institution. Thus, linking accounts across multiple financial institutions.

Overall it's a great CU there's just one unpleasant snobby girl at the Southfield office. I don't like her lol

No stellar features, but gets the job done. Allows check deposit via photo.

I mentioned in my first review 2 years ago that you can't see your payoff amount on the overdraft protection. Now, even with all the updates over the years, you still can't see your payoff amount when paying an overdraft protection amount. It seems like the app developers don't care about feedback because this seems like a simple update that I'm sure many customers would appreciate. I know I would.

Works well, no troubles. My only complaint is the I was so happy when the finally added mobile deposit. But it is always a two day hold. I've given it some time since they added that option to see if it would change. And after depositing checks today it is not. The last couple check deposits at the atm. The funds were available right away, if not the next day.

Update: I previously reviewed that the mobile deposit feature was too low to accommodate my needs. In a timely manner without me contacting zeal at all my limit was increased and I was notified of this change. That's some great service in my book.

It's so easy to use and it keeps me ultra up to date with all activity in my accounts. I even pay my loan payment in the app and it literally only takes seconds. Thank you Zeal for making something so important so easy.

Have to use a phone call to confirm account after install...problematic for me because i am travelling abroad and my phone is US only.

Zeal Credit Union is the best! I've been with them for almost 4 years and I just love them! Their app keeps getting better for the best!!! Keep up the great work.

Is n e one else having a problem with this app it won't open

I have been a member of this credit union for a very long. I love the fact that now we have an app to be able to have easy access to our information. It's very easy to use, I wouldn't change a thing right now.

Can do a lot on app. I like that I can transfer funds between my accounts using this app.
