Hacker News Reader for Android
Simple. Easy. Great stuff. Keep up the good work!
I like this app allot. It is very simple, but has all functions i require.
Always gives an error.
Just says hmm there seems to be a problem
great app I have installed I think all of them (hn readers) but this was the keeper...
The app won't show more than the first bunch of links, and today it failed three times. Moving on to greener pastures.

Several bugs and deficiencies that don't get fixed. Currently the app just gives up on launch with the all too familiar "there seems to be a problem" error message.
Simple interface, easy to use.
I just love the content provided by Hacker News and with that I installed this app which I'd say disappointed me. The interface needs a lot of improvements.
Great source of interesting/relevant articles. Simple GUI, easy to use. Thank you.

Easy to use. Could use improvement with nesting of comments in text mode though.
Best HN reader!
usefull app
Great app!
Need option to choose preferred browser like Dolphin instead of stock. Time grouping like last day, last 5 days will be very useful.
Seems much more stable after latest update.
I don't live in Chicago and if I did I still wouldn't hire you.
Not working, HTC Desire,
I load up cory traegers hn app. It is a crashing machine. Otherwise, I go elsewhere to read hacker news. No Idea how this is the top hn app.
Works great for just reading Hacker News stories and comments. Along with Instapaper support, Read It Later support would be great.
It allows to read the comments nicely. Well, that's about it. No voting, no commenting, no hide read comments. Plus annoying red ad on the top.
Coming back to using this after trying others. Small footprint and always works.
I don't mind the hire me in Chicago banner, but it shouldn't float on top when I scroll down the page. Esp in that grating red color.
There's a bright red ad at the top.of the screen that never goes away...even if you click on it. Eyes. Are. Bleeding.
Works like a charm.
Galaxy SIII, I can click through to the link but cannot see the comments either, which is half the reason to be on Hacker News
First, understand that this is a reader. You cannot comment or vote with this app. Second, it seems to miss some data on the page I'd like to see. In particular, number of comments and maybe age of post. Comment nesting seems a little buggy as indentation doesn't always show the right level. But it's snappy and readable and I've never had a crash.

Minimalistic but best tried other apps but came back here thanks guys
great app I have installed I think all of them (hn readers) but this was the keeper...
The best HN app functionality-wise. Minus one star until the UI gets updated.
Simple interface, easy to use.
Does what it says, does it well
As in other reviews, it seems that occasionally there are some missing comments. Other than that, this includes all the usability stuff I expect from an app for reading HN. Share links and comments, view comments in app or browser, fast scrolling everywhere. I feel like the built in "read it later" with instapaper is a little pointless without asynchronous execution (I have to wait for it to share with instapaper via intents and via the built-in, so why not just use intents?), but it is still a nice touch
Long links texts gets abbreviated in comments.. The links also get abbreviated on the href level, this making the links unusable.
I've tried alot of other hn apps and always came back to this. Simple, easy to read, my eyes rest looking at this! Suggest removing 'refresh and search' bar, it does'nt add anything and removes valueable news space. Scrolling to the End should load more news. Other that, please dont change anything.
Great app, I love the fact that the back button in the browser takes you back to the app. Only wish you did not have to long press to get to the comments.
