Tezkiretül Evliya

Feridüddin Attar'ın (k.s.) yegane mensur eseri olup H. 617 yılında, şehid edilmesinden bir sene evvel telif edilmiştir. Tezkire, iyi şeyleri anmaya ve güzel şeyleri yad etmeye vesile olan şey demektir. Bu itibarla, arzu edilen şeyin unutulmayıp hatırlanmasını temin etme maksadıyla, parmağa bağlanan ipliğe tezkire denilmektedir. Velilerin veciz ve irşad edici sözlerinin, örnek teşkil eden hal ve hareketlerinin yad edilip önce Allah'ın, sonra peygamberlerin, velilerin ve ahiret ahvalinin zikredilmesine vasıta olan hususlara da tezkire denilmiştir.

Bu itibarla Kur'an'a da tezkire denilmiştir. Çünkü aynı şeyleri hatırlatıp muteyakkız olmayı temin etmektedir. 69 velinin kıssa ve kerametlerinin anlatıldığı bu klasik eser, okuyucuyu farklı alemlere götürmekte ve gönül seyahatine çıkarmaktır.
