They have sorted the calendar issue by getting rid of it and now you just enter your date of birth, so I can now sign up. However, app is very limited with only basic information and ability, but at least it now works. You can only enter one trip abroad, so you have to wait until that trip is over before you can enter another one. Long way to go before it becomes a good app. Phone: Motorola G5 plus.

It worked on my old phone so tried to download it on my new phone and it doesn't even allow me to do that. Tried nearly 10 times putting in the correct numbers and nothing worked. Rubbish. They should take note of all these bad comments and do something about it.

by S####:

I try to install every day a few times to my new phone and doesn't let me type the full card number and the expiry date. It was okay when I've installed to my old one. Lucky me I still got it and I'm able to reach my account.

Cannot get onto the app. Only managed to get on once. I put in my pass code and the circle just goes round for ages

S70%
by S####:

Well I seem to have better luck than most. Is logged in twice now of about 15 attempts.

South Africa does not show in Travel Destinations..?? How many millennia has it been there..?? David Attenborough must have been fibbing for all these years. In reality he's been reporting from Skegness..????

S70%

The app said a payment failed and to retry both payments had fail notifications both had gone through. Just unacceptable

A70%

This now crashes every time I try to open it.

I can not even get my details submitted, I typed my security details in but there is no button for the next step.

I have been trying to log on for the past week but it just shows the loading symbol.

Registration requires calling customer services. Can't be bothered. Uninstalling.

Wouldn't accept activation code, useless.

Not working

The app worked once and then just never gets past the passcode page. Just continually looks like it is trying to connect but never manages it. Have tried re-setting the data but to no avail. The only time I got into the app it looked good. Was able to see balance, purchases, previous statements and pay my bill. The date of birth issue that a lot of people seem to be having didn't materialise for me. Just tap the year at top left and it allows you to quickly scroll to the year you need.

I am trying to pass the security. When it asks for my birthdate it brings up a calendar instead of letting me type it I. So I will have to go back 54 years of months to get to my age! I only took it as it doesn't charge for use abroad. I'm going to change it for the Clydesdale Bank B Crdit Card. It doesn't charge either.

by S####:

I had a few issues getting past the initial DOB setup. After 3 weeks I discovered you can click on the year at the top of the calender and scroll down to the year. It seems to work fine now. Good luck! (The helpline didn't know this and told me to use the web based sysyem)

I70%
by I####:

Simple app but would massively benefit from having a reminder function, and the ability to store debit cards to pay balances so you don't have to manually put in the details every time. Please add these functionalities! It's offputting as a customer that they're not included.

I70%
by I####:

The date of birth problem is a real pain. The workaround if you can be bothered is to scroll back a few years, pick a random date and enter it, then tap the box again, scroll back a few more years and repeat until you get to your real date of birth. This process stops the app timing out before you have time to get to your actual birth date. Once I got over that, the process with the activation code was fine. Needs sorting.

Q70%
by Q####:

Amazed it has 2 stars. Worst app I have ever installed. Did the developers try using it after release? Can't believe any developer could sit back and say "what a great job I've done there". Will give registration one more go and then it will be uninstalled.

S70%
by S####:

I can never log on. It just keep showing me an arrow going around in circles. The whole post office credit card has been awful from the start(including getting a second card for my husband and requiring him to go to the post office with his I d documents which we didn't do) never again

S70%
by S####:

Registration quick and easy, not sure what this date of birth issue is that others are having but it must be linked to different brands of phones as it was very simple just scrolling thru day month year. Good for checking balance and recent transaction. No option to view last statement as far as I can see.

S70%
by S####:

This is so bad. After getting over the date of birth entry problem, see other reviews, you then need a code that gets sent by sms. I have already had 3 codes all of which failed to work and locked the app. I would have liked to review the functionality of the app but been able to get in to try it. Very poor

G70%
by G####:

Had this app on my Samsung s6. Rate it highly on that and was easy to download. Just had an upgrade to a s8+ and I just can't get past plugging in dob. Managed to get back as far as 1972. Wanted to get to 1966. Won't try any more. Not worth the time and effort

S70%
by S####:

I can understand why there are so many bad reviews trying to register is a total nightmare. Trying to get passed the date of birth and try to scroll back 60 years is impossible. I gave up. Will get a different card it will be easier.

X70%
by X####:

DoB issue is terrible. Cannot see how this could have not been seen even by the developer, let alone QA. Give zero faith in an app used for banking. The issue seems to have been present for a long while without being addressed. Very poor.

A70%
by A####:

The person who chose the 'date of birth' selection control deserves to be shot. Instead of allowing to choose year and month, you must scroll back month by month. Take too long and the app times out and you must start again. Garbage. Gave up after three attempts, will uninstall.

S70%
by S####:

Well there is 'Completely Useless' and then there is this excuse of an App, Having entered all personal details (DoB + Postcode + Mother's maiden name) there is no way to continue!! Bet it was developed and tested off shore!!

Z70%
by Z####:

This app has been totally ill thought out. Pay some money and get someone decent to design it. When you register you have to put your date of birth in. It comes up with a calendar starting on today's date and the only way to submit the date is to scroll back (in my case 47 X 12 months) to find it. By the time I reached 1980 the app timed out! Please sort this out! Let me just type my date of birth in!

S70%
by S####:

DOB issue for Samsung galaxy S7 edge. To be honest it is much easier if you leave it as free text and just put the expected date format underneath. Otherwise you will have to test every single modification of Android and got loads of complaints...

S70%
by S####:

Same thing, date of birth scroll menu is ridiculous. Just let me type in numbers and we'll be fine. No way I'm wasting my time scrolling back to 1983 one month at a time. I'm using a Sony xperia compact FYI

S70%
by S####:

I have attempted to install this rubbish. Reasonably enough it asks for DoB. But instead of allowing you to enter it you have to use their calendar. But to get back to 1947 you have to step back from now 1 month at a time. When you get to 1970 it crashes. I may be a silver surfer, but I was writing Assembler and designing realtime systems in 1980. Hopefully better than this!

Q70%
by Q####:

Absolute waste of time. Once upon a time it worked fine - I used to check balance and make payments with this app just fine. At some point it broke and now with a new phone I needed to re-register and the date of birth problem is just totally absurd. I'd assumed that was so glaring that it would be fixed on an update but 3 months later that hadn't happened. Seriously poor.

S70%
by S####:

Is this a joke? How can something so basic and easy as entering a date of birth be done so badly to the point of making the app unusable? It wouldn't take much effort to fix this either but clearly it's not happening ????

S70%
by S####:

Never used it. To get through security you have to enter your date of birth (rightly so). Trouble is you have to scroll back through a calendar rather than just enter it numerically. I have to scroll back 55 years but have never made it further than 1999!! Very poorly thought out.

S70%
by S####:

Absolute rubbish. Even after managing to enter my date of birth this ridiculous app wouldn't accept the activation code the post office sent. Don't waste your time.

S70%
by S####:

Was working fine for a long time but stopped working. Reinstalled and cant believe you haven't updated the date of birth part. Its like playing daily thomsons decathlon again thank god i am not an oap. But still better than the call centre. Cant understand a word. Plus the charge for payments abroad were quite steep. New card next year me thinks.

O70%
by O####:

Why the heck do you have to click back from each month from 2017 to get back to your birthday when setting up... how stupid! Just let us type in our birth date .

B70%
by B####:

DOB field defaults to 2017 - security question comes up with current year and month - a number of people have complained about the number of times needed to swipe to get to the year of birth in my case I would need to need to swipe over 700 times to get to my month and year of birth - HOWEVER if you look carefully top left the year appears in a very small font and a colour that's very difficult to see - tap on this and you'll find a scroll down. MESSAGE TO APP MAKER - ENLARGE AND CHANGE THE COLOUR OF THE YEAR! MAKE IT VERY VISIBLE.

S70%
by S####:

I have tried to register my PO credit card with the app on my new Android Nougat phone, but when it asks me for my DOB it only offers me a calendar showing June 2017. Great for a new born baby, but I get timed out before I manage to scroll back 838 months, one by one. Unusable! Having read another review I found the year displayed at top left of the calendar, but because of the colour scheme it's hardly discernable. If you click on that you can change the year.

T70%
by T####:

Can't get my date of birth in as I've got to scroll through all 12 months for the 31 years I've been alive before the stupid app times out and starts me back in the current month. Utter garbage.
