HOW TO REGISTER

Registering for the app is quick and easy. All you need to do is:

1. Download the app;
2. Have your AA Credit Card to hand;
3. Enter a few account details;
4. Set up a personal passcode; and
5. Enter an activation code that will be sent to you via SMS text.

Once you've completed the registration steps, you can use the app to manage your AA Credit Card account whenever and where ever you are.

Use of this app is free but your data connection may not be. Depending on your provider and the price plan you have, you may be charged for some services like Mobile Data, so please check with your provider for any additional costs you may incur through the use of this app.

Spinning circle and 'please wait' goes on forever after entering pin. However, force stop and the app will start correctly the next time - thanks to other reviewers for the tip! Coupled with the dob entry and I'm being generous giving 2 stars. However, now i know the work arounds, i can do the simple things i need to.

Setting up is a total nightmare. You can not manually enter your date of birth. You must use the calendar and click back each month. This is a minimum of 216 clicks (18 years x 12 months) For a 48 year old you click back, one month at a time, 576 times. I have managed to get up to 350 before it timed me out and reset it self - asking me to start the whole process again. Frustrating would be an understatement. .

I cannot rate this app as I cannot register for it. I have tried 5 or 6 times and each time when trying to register my DOB (I am 65) it times me out. A phone call to customer services didn't help either as I was told that any changes made would not be for the foreseeable future. Worse than poor customer service, Bank of Ireland. As soon as I have paid off my 0% Balance Transfer, I shall be closing my account!

Pointless. It could be the best app in the world, but you'll never know as it times out before you can click 500 times to manually enter your D. O. B. The result being you can never log in. Very frustrating. Avoid.

Like others I've found this app frustrating to log into. But if you go into settings then apps and find the app then force stop ( as mentioned by someone else earlier) it sorts it out. But we shouldn't have to do this.

Useless - as others say you have to scroll through a calendar to set your DoB but the app times out before i can put mother's maiden name in. Brilliant example of a very poorly thought through app

After initial registration each time I attempt to access the app it hangs, if its not going to work it is just taking up space in my phone memory.

Can very rarely log in to this app. Have to constantly uninstall and re register to get in to it. Once I've paid my balance off will close the credit card down. Too much hassle to pay the bill!

First got incorrect card, rude customer service and an app that is worthless. Wish I hadn't bothered, will not be using the card in any way at all. No confidence, complete joke

This app would have been really good but it just never opens up. It takes minutes to open up, I've never known an app that does that. I'm not an IT person & I don't know the right terms - but please fix the bug or whatever is responsible. Not being able to check my account puts me off using the card at all. You can do better than this app, it is appalling. I don't know about these other 2 ratings, may they are for the older version because this version does not do what it should.

The app really is pathetic when you compare it to other banking apps. It takes at least 5 attempts to login and when you want to pay your card you have to enter the payment card details in everytime. Had I have known that their digital capability was so poor I would have reconsidered getting an AA card.

Downloaded it and it sent me a verification code. I entered it 3 times as it said it was incorrect and it blocked me for 30 mins. Tried again and sent got another verification code and still won't accept it. Utter rubbish

Just registered, which went fine and was able to get into it and see account balance. However on three later attempts just got buffering signal after entering pass code. Noticed I had very low battery so changed to a spare - fully charged one and got in first time. Samsung Note 2

If you set up a direct debit via app after they have sent your statement it wont start until your next statement. This should be stated in the app but isn't. Now it has stopped letting me log in. Worst app ever.

There couldn't be a worse app for a credit card even if they try. This thing is a joke. Almost always impossible to log on. Mickey Mouse apps perform better than this. You guys need to get rid of your IT staff.

Absolute Rubbish!! Signed in first time all ok - logged out, couldn't get back in. Uninstalled and reinstalled a dozen times with new activation codes - still can't get in. Was told IT would phone 3 days ago - still waiting. They could learn a lot from the Nationwide app!!

When I first used this app I was a bit disappointed, like many users. However, I remembered that sometimes certain other apps I have used have needed to be manually closed. Once this has been done, the app then works fine again. To close the app, go to your app settings and use "force stop" (might be different phraseology in other android versions). Hope this works if you're struggling with it...

The app let's you see last 6 months transactions, the format isn't great though. Can also make payments, however no facility to remember your payment details to make this easy. Also if you have a direct debit set up and make a payment using the app it skips the direct debit that month instead of making an additional payment.

Set it up, logged in 1st time fine. Every time since it just spins after entering pass code. How am I supposed to use this??????

I have tried this app 3 times, I enter the activation code and each time it has an invalid error. I have checked the code, uninstalled the app etc, it is just a waste of time.

Each time the activation code was sent, I get a pop up from my messaging app but then it asks for security number, which then fails as activation code has not been entered. I finally figured this out by disabling the popup and luckily I could still see the activation code in the status bar at the top so after 5 tries finally got in.
