It's great to have the forecasts on mobile app but unfortunately the app is very poorly developed. Click on a region and usually nothing shows up. Very hard to select a MIN report as usually nothing pops up after touching the flags. When viewing a MIN report, the photos do not scale properly and if the photo is too large most of text in the description part cannot be seen.

Great app, please add the mountain weather forecast/ sat images from the webpage. Thanks

Avalanche.ca on mobile browser is better. Mountain weather forecast and all MIN reporting features (Weather, Snow Pack, Incident) need to be added to this app. MIN is important in the Northern Rockies as we don't have a lot of snow info.

Great tool, but please add the high elevation weather forecast as it's quite important in trip planning. TY!

Essential tool

Repeatedly told me my phone was offline, despite my internet connection clearly working both WiFi and data. Wouldn't even recognize it after multiple shut downs and reboots. Absolutely hopeless, fails before it even starts. Went with the Avalanche Forecast app instead, which actually works! Very disappointing.

Touch on options and nothing happens. Sometimes I touch northern Rockies and it takes me to another page that only says Avalanche information "here" whichever takes me nowhere. Get on maps but won't take me to list.... And so on. There is no home on the menu, oh I figured out to click on the top title to get to maps. Not very simple interface or touch friendly.

Excellent source of information, but app UI is frustrating to use. Touch events often misrecognized. Touchable items frequently much too close together on map. Zooming requires multiple tries. Back button behaviour inconsistent with the rest of Android.

Good app. Any plans to update it so it caches reports for offline use?

Circle just spins and it says submitting report but never finishes.

Essential for planning any backcountry route.

External storage corrupted on installation. Possibly a coincidence but I'll just use the website instead.

Important app for those going into the backcountry or anyone who wants to see what the snow pack is like in their area.

Every snowmobiler and back country user in western Canada should use this app. Some rough edges but the information is essential.

I love your website and all the info you provide to keep people safe, really good job, thanks. But this app really needs better job of your app developer. It's extremely slow, zooming selects a region even you don't want it. Info is very brief, not good enough for avid back country skiers. What about some favourites? Maybe I don't care about entire Canada but only few close regions. Keep on hard working to make it better. Thanks.

App works once in every 10 tries I do love the idea behind it. App needs to be tweaked

Every one riding needs this app

With the latest patch (3.0), can no longer exit the app via the back button. No menu options exist from the main map view. Had to use the home button, then kill the app manually. The app did seem a bit faster and more responsive though. Update 3.0.1 did not resolve the problem. I am on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 running Android 4.3.

It's meant I've been able to keep a closer eye on things through the week, making me feel better prepared for the weekend.
