PerfectShot for Android
Can separately adjust exposure and focus before taking the shot. Love that ability! Update: my device doesn't support the auto exposure feature anymore. Shame.
It crashed each time I try to open.
Been trying lots of camera apps lately and this probably takes the best pictures when it's behaving. Love the ability to take exposure reading and focus in different areas. However, on the Ascend G700 it is always hunting and the interface is a bit unconventional to me - better user documentation, online or otherwise, would be helpful. If hunting problem is fixed, definitely worth paying.
... what a tool that is at thier disposal. Too bad...
Cool
Would be a good app if I could use exposure lock
this is really good camera apps. but this one bug in my phone, horizontal guide is inverted. the focused thingy also inverted. still 5*. maybe bug from my rom. cm10.1 lt26w
Can't launch the app on Motorola Moto X Force, Marshmallow.
This crashes on my Sony Z5 Compact
How can I buy it?
I really loved the timer mode
Does not support AE metering on Note 2
The ISO adjustion does not work too well as I can expect. EXIF is a little bit messy. Other things are all good and cool.
Looks like it is the only app that can deal with banding issue on Motorola Droid Maxx (XT1080). But makes pictures overexposed.
No matter what settings I use, the pictures (on my Galaxy S3) look like elongated strips of the pixels contained in the image. In the preview everything looks normal and like a cool UI, but once I actually take the photo... I get that weird linear repetition of pixels. So I haven't even gotten to see one good photo out of the 10 that are offerred for free.
Pictures come out nice, but: Can't save to SD. Somewhat of a drawback
Awesome Camera..
Uninstall.
Very sharp pictures. Separate exposure and focus areas ..You can see the results right on your viewfinder. UI could have been better , too cramped. Overall best android camera app
Controls can get a tad fiddly in bright light, but overall most likely the best "serious" camera app out there!!
Beautiful app I use it all the time make everything so easy easy to understand everybody that takes pictures with my phone loves it
Nice, but can't zoom with volume on the phone
I bought the unlimited app as an upgrade. Now the app on my droid says it's the free app when it showed it as unlimited two days ago. The playstore also shows no record of my having bought it but I do have a receipt from the play store and the money was paid accordng to my bank. I just can't recommend this app because t seems they want me to pay twice. Update: Worked with the developer and they gave a refund for the in-app purchase. Would recommend not using the in-app upgrade but buy it instead. Upgraded to 4 stars.
Does not support AE metering on Note 2
Nice design but still buggy
does AF & AE metering area separately work on the note2
this is really good camera apps. but this one bug in my phone, horizontal guide is inverted. the focused thingy also inverted. still 5*. maybe bug from my rom. cm10.1 lt26w
The App is now working as I expected it to be, The developer also replies fast and makes changes.... one thing more the settings are always in portrait orientation.. I think that fixable.
One of the most underrated photo app in Google Play Store! Still evaluating but putting it on par with some of the paid popular camera apps like camera ICS and ProCapture. Developer responds to suggestion emails amazingly quick. One thing missing is still the option to use the front facing camera which I understand will come later =) Great app, highly recommended! Nexus 4
App won't start on my phone. Instantly crashes my phone and causes it to reboot. What gives? Samsung galaxy s 3
Awesome.
Super util
App loads noticeably faster than native camera however occasionally on startup the UI doesn't load. Restarting app fixes this. Sometimes auto mode is overly sensitive and won't capture image, user customisation might be an idea as the majority of times I'd use this feature would be out drinking when the likelihood of holding the camera totally steady is slim! *edit* As of v.1.5.6 startup issue happened 1/25 times so rating increased
Glad that I didn't buy it! Why? Because he has no idea what he talking about! My S3 is not and has never been rooted! Meaning that the rom is stock just the way I got it when I bought it a month ago! The "developer" needs to get a clue about what he talking about because talking! Sincerely The Stock Rom!!! It doesn't matter I've moved and enjoy what I am using! Have a great day!
I have to say the app is ALMOST really well thought out and works decently on my Galaxy S5. But there is one HUGE reason why you should not use this app on the G-S3-S5 all of which I have and tested. It does not use the full sensor!! No matter what size photo or video setting you use....it crops in significantly compared to the native camera app. This is no good at all...you loose precious resolution and wide angle ability. The second reason is that none of the independent AE and AF lock functions work.
It keeps telling me it can't find an Internet connection so it won't let me register it to use it fully. And the AE function apparently doesn't work on the Galaxy Note II.
This app but I have a couple of issues. No matter what setting I use, it leaves a grey strip along the side (or bottom, depending on orientation) of my photo. Video function doesn't work at all, its just a jumble of crazy color lines. I really want this app to work, I like the way it is set up, I like the options, I like the quality of the photos but not going to pay for full if these things won't work for me in the free!
... what a tool that is at thier disposal. Too bad...
Ok, I was skeptical. But I did head to head shots with several other camera apps. This one without a doubt is faster and takes a sharper shot. In fact it's focusing is amazing accurate. Second to this would be ProCapture. Zoom FX, not even close. Camera MX terrible. Tried so many I can't even list. Support was great also. If it is going crazy shooting, switch to semi-auto.
