iDoyle: Sherlock Holmes. for Android
Great app, love it
The way a book should be read. Please more Sherlock stories.
I love the little interactive idea!! Once started I couldn't stop myself from reading the whole thing in one go, reading aloud the whole time. Great artwork and animation, too. The app crashed 3 times I believe when turning a page but the position was always saved and the little annoiance soon forgotten.
All the iClassics apps are just brilliant and provide a fresh and highly enjoyable way to rediscover immortal tales, poems, and short stories. Technology enhances the reading experience without getting distracting, leaving intact the genius behind each classic. Get them all to fill your virtual bookshelf and enjoy them wherever you are (at home, during a break at work or at school, commuting, at the park, wherever!)
It would be nice if it remembered my music preference. Also occasionally crashes. Not worth $5 but I'd pay $3. Good price at $2.
This is, as the iClassics all are, a wonderful application. If you love Holmes, definitely try this. If you have been thinking of reading Doyle but aren't as into plain books, here's your more than usual read. If you prefer movies or games, there's plenty to watch and do. This is a wonderful way to read treasured classics, with new twists allowed by modern technology. Bravo!
I've read this adventure a dozen times and it's one of my favorites. This version and this emerisve experience is so much fun, I want the entire Sherlock canon done this way. What a unique way to enjoy classic literature! ENCORE!!
I've just started using it and I got trouble.
I love this interactive series! Great work and please continue to come out with more authors! <3 <3

While I am usually quite adverse torwards spending any money on a phone app, being a fan of Sherlock Holmes and Victorian literature, I nearly immediately bought this. I was utterly blown away by the level of artistry. The backgrounds and characters were beautifully done and the animations for such a cheap app was superb! A Scandal in Belgravia was the first story I had read of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson's adventure, and to have a more interactive experience of the story was incredibly satisfying. While I, of course, would wish for a lower price or maybe another story or two, I understand, at least to a small extent, the expenses that were needed to create this and I generally feel it was well justified.
