About Picpockets:World's Best Photos
Picpockets: World's Best Photographs is a series of educational and inspirational images that celebrates the work of some of the best photographers in the world.
Each Picpocket title explores a particular facet of the photographer’s work with an aim to inspire and educate professional photographers and photography enthusiasts, placing an emphasis on posing, lighting, storytelling, composition, exposure data and much more.
With a flick of a finger you will be amazed at the artistry, story and technique of the some of the most memorable images in the world. The galleries will remind you to explore different techniques, search for better light and give flight to your imagination. You may simply want to sit back, relax and enjoy some memorable moments, wonder at our beautiful planet or be touched by the human spirit.
The first four images of each title are free. Purchase the title to view the remainder of the images within a gallery.
You may search the galleries by artist, title or genre and you’ll have the ability to add selected artists, titles and individual photographs to your "Favorites" album. Within "my faves" you may add, edit or delete items. You can also create your own albums with various images from any artist.
You may archive titles at your leisure and restore them at any time. To archive titles, go to the gallery thumbnail page of a title, click on the "About" button and then select the "Archive" button on the bottom right. You can restore all archived titles at once from the settings menu or individually from the titles menu.
You must be connected to the internet to view all of the free sample images. You can still browse purchased and previously viewed images while offline. To purchase more titles, you must be connected to the internet.
New artists and titles will be added regularly. You will receive notifications letting you know about all the updates. You may swipe the artists, titles and genre screens down to refresh the content while online at any time.

Lots of buttons available to make in app purchase. Pop up prompts very annoying, unnecessary, and happens way too often. Need better photo classifications. Same 4 photos appear in pets, kids, and family genres with 1 dog photo, 2 kid photos, 1 mans body with no head. {dont think 1 of photos should be kid photo} Also, some photos either take too long or do not load fast enough.

Jerry, hi. Is this going to get offline access? If I don't have a phone signal or internet connection the app doesn't work. Thankfully I purchased your physical cards when u still sold them. Several times at weddings and engagement shoots I have needed this but if my phone doesn't have a signal its useless. Please give us an update. I will also send an email. Not sure if there is a setting I am missing for offline mode. Cheers.

After purchasing some of the descriptions, I found that, while the camera Metadata was still present, there was no educational information about the photograph or how it was achieved. I'm thinking it's an app problem, unintentional, but a waste of my money.

I love the insights and gorgeous images. Unfortunately the pixelated, low resolution files limit their usefulness. You talk about gorgeous catch lights but I just see a black square... It makes me question spending the $3 for a title.

I love this app. I was skeptical about paying $3 for each of the different titles and figure I'd have little use for the free images anyway. I was wrong. I love studying the images in my free time, guessing the exif data, learning the lighting, tips, poses and just getting inspired generally. I'll be buying at least one new title every week. It's a great resource that's always with you.

Love the content. Unfortunately, the app crashes almost every time I start it and I'm on a high end LG G2. Also, it takes about 2 minutes for my 25 favorites to show up when I open the favorites. There should be a quick access to your favorites from everywhere. Also, apparently you can't access favorites when you aren't connected to internet.

This app provides great insight into the thought process of some amazing photographers.. As a novice photographer, who is skeptical of most things sold through apps, I'm relieved to find an app that provides the hands - on information needed to recreate these images while simultaneously inspiring my own creative imagination... Spending a couple hundred here might just shorten your learning curve.... Good luck, good day and good lighting!

Love the concept of the app, but unable to purchase the individual in-app artist slideshows. I get an error message from the Google Play Store "User is not eligible for this purchase". Please help me spend my money!!!
