DNS Server for Android
Note 1. If you find a bug or have a problem please contact us by email since we cannot help you if you post it in the reviews.
Note 2. Normally DNS Servers run on port 53, but because of some limitations on Android that is not possible. So you will need to add port forwarding in your home network to access the server on port 53.
**
In this version you can add one server (DNS, or Dynamic DNS Updaters), three rules and if allowed IP’s is set also only three of them. If you want to be able to add unlimited items please buy DNS Server Pro. If you buy the pro version you will support development, will be able to add unlimited items and see no advertisements!

Lovely
Works wonderfully does exactly what I need it to do.
I want to run my only dns server on my ps3
buy swim suit using app dns is verry good
web dns does not work. forums are unhelpful. wasted a bunch of time. interface is cludgy and impossible toreally know what on a settings page is important. uninstalled.
Horrible user experience.
I'm setting up Wi-Fi tethering on my device and need to test why DNS isn't working, so I installed this. Even though I have root by default, the app assumes that I don't and disables port 53. Please resolve? (No pun intended) Thanks. (Also, it's hard to find the save settings button, which doesn't exist - you have to go back for it to prompt you to save settings.)
I had a problem with this app and another, similar app from this company. Was very hopeful that one app or the other would prove very useful to me. I sent them an email and also posted a query on their forum. Heard nothing for three weeks. Then, I saw that the forum I had posted to had zero replies -- from them or anyone else. I don't know if this app works or not. With the non-existent user support that I received, it really doesn't matter. It was just a big waste of time for me. Too bad. The app looked promising.
I tried to start server & type nslookup on different PC on the same network . But PC did not receive return from the server . Is there any special setting ?
I want to run my only dns server on my ps3
Lol. What the hell is this? No port 53 support.
If i can't set to port 53 on my rooted phone... then not worth it.
How can i use this in PS3...??
I want to rate this app
Good apps
Very good ...
Very simple to use. Removed DNS lock and automagically works wherever I bring my tablet. Adds greater fluidity to all browsing especially in zones with terrible latency.
Created a server in this app, added the rule to map domain with IP and started the server. No effect, domain still was not using given IP.
It won't install
good

Gud
Always works and nothing ever works the first time never fails me
If you want to use this as the default DNS server on your phone, also install "DNS Forward" app, and set it to forward to 127.0.0.1 port 5353 (or whatever port you chose for the server). Then it works fine all the time without using a router.
I can't add more than 3 items. That sucks. :(
Excellent and unwavering. Now that's what I'm looking for.
