About Notable: Quick Notes&Reminder
Notable allows you to set reminders and notes in your notification bar. Need to remind yourself of something to do? Just open the app, type in a short message, and create a note! All done within 5 seconds, and you can go back with your day right away.
You can see your reminders and notes straight from your notification area. You can also set an alarm for each reminder, and the app will notify you in the future.
Notable is designed with speed and simplicity in mind, as well as following the latest Material Design guidelines. No need to go back to home screen and launch the app to create a reminder, just open the notifications, click the shortcut, and create a note!
Best of all, Notable opens over your current app so you don't need to leave what you are doing. It is also ad-free and lightweight on your phone.

P.S.: You will sometime need to relaunch the app after an update to restore previous items.

I will make a note to myself, then carry on, sometimes phone on battery save etc. When I look again app no longer there. If I load it again, all notes lost. Setting alarms do not seem to work (prob cause the app is closed again...

I don't recall how I found this app about a month ago, and I've only used it twice. However, I love this app! It's discrete and waits politely for me at the bottom of my notification tray. Then, when I create a reminder, I have a nice notification at the top of my notification tray, just waiting for me to mark it done.... As previously noted, this could be made even better by adding an optional time to it, so that the notification doesn't appear until a certain time (due).

It should provide relative time and dial pad for entry. Analog clock configuration is not speedy and precise to configure. Impossible to edit minutes after hour entry. App must focus on speed. Notification must be unique, not one for each entry. Entries notification must be shown on day before only (snooze as Google), not all days. History entries cannot be deleted or revived. Entries cannot be deleted, it must be set as done. App is a great idea but has many flaws and fails on basic usability

I try not to put any really important info in this, as I have accidentally deleted it or the app itself is a little glitchy. Some things I swipe done they pop back up, I try and write new content the old content pops back up. Acts strangely and not entirely reliable. I think it is a good app just needs some work. Will continue to use for now but with caution. Thx :)

I was searching for an app that let me note ideas or ToDos without exiting the current app. Every other app had some bug or was inconvenient. It has so many features - Reloads after restarting, - opens in small popup, - Hides in the status bar, - can set reminders, - shows all the notes in notification and has unlimited(maybe) text box, - allows editing and even write using speech to text directly, - shows history of completed tasks. Thank you so much developers. Keep it up!! Update - I don't know whether it's the update or some bug but the app freezes my phone and since I loved this app I did not uninstall it despite the fact it froze my phone about 6 times uptill now. Please fix this but until then I am too afraid to use this app since I love my phone more than I love this app.
