GIF Express Camera (formerly Face2Gif) is the fastest way to create your own animated gifs right from your phone or tablet! It's perfect for reaction gifs (reaction faces, selfies), and time-lapse shots. Then add cool effects like captions and share it with your friends or on the Internet!
This app uses your front or back camera to record your face, and converts it into an animated gif picture to share with your friends, on your blog, or everywhere!
Please note that if you are sending your pictures via SMS, the receiver has to install another Gallery app (like QuickPic), because the default android picture viewer does NOT support animated pictures. However it should work fine on your favourite chat client such as Facebook Messenger! Just share the picture to your chat application from the app.
The app is newly released so please bear with me in fixing all the bugs, please report if the app crashes or does something nasty!

This has so much potential it's quick and very easy but sadly it doesn't work on lots of other carriers like viber what's app and even normal mail clients so you can't send, such a shame because it such fun

Works well on my at&t galaxy note 2. Love the addition of rear facing camera. Great app. Fun and easy to use. Dev put in some funny statements during the gif processing. "Contacting the NSA" love it.

I like the better quality option in this but there's no way to trim your GIF after recording. What if you recorded a second too long and that last second spoils it? You have no choice here but to record again. I'd love to come across an app that replicates Samsung's too, where you can tell it to not animate certain parts of the image, keeping them still using the first frame. Good app though, just needs that trim option

I tried UNsuccessfully to upload my gif to Tumblr many times. The gif only appears as a still-shot picture when it does upload. No gifs work anyway on Facebook, and not sure if they work on Instagram. The only site where the gif I created does actually move is on Google+, but really, who uses Google+? No one I know. Once you get this fixed where we can share working, moving gifs on websites, I will change my rating. But pretty easy to use app. I do like that.

Love how the gifs turn out but unable to share them on Anything, all it shows is one picture and nothing more... Disappointing..... Hope will be fixed.. Other then that's it's great.... Using samsung galaxy note 2

I only gave this app three stars but only because it's still in development stages. Other then that it's a very cool gif maker. I've been using it for a couple of days now... Fun. It needs work on landscape mode because it will record that upside-down. It always restarts with your front camera as default, which can get annoying. All-in-all though, this app has a Lot of potential. A lot.

I love the ease of this app and it works well. I can't upload anything anywhere. Not facebook, instagram, nothing. Its just a still shot picture when it loads. Upsetting. 5 stars if this problem can be fixed.
