Global CIO community
Chief Information Officers around the world have an increasingly significant role in shaping the way organizations conduct business.
During the past two decades, the role of the CIO has undergone a dramatic evolution; most CIOs today are asked to make strategic business contributions as a recognized officer of their organization.
Title CIO has become so familiar in almost nations around the globe, thus CIO Communities were soon established such as in the U.S, Australia and Canada.
The CIO Executive Council, first launched in April 2004 with operations in the United States, gives CIOs a united voice on technology matters and enables them to act as trusted, unbiased resources to one another while strengthening their businesses and collectively advancing the CIO profession.
