NA Basic Text Audio Book

I appreciate the audio part of the book. However, it would be nice to have the text to read along with the audio. Also I am unable to exit the app. I have to force quit the app. Pleace add an exit option. I'd like to recommend this app to fellow recovering addicts, but it still has flaws that need to be fixed.

So being able to listen and read it gives me GREAT JOY at this time. Because I have relapsed.

This is awesome!!! It has audio for when i am driving!! I don't understand why people are asking where the money goes or saying that it is expensive. In active addiction non of us cared where our money went aslong as we had what we thought we needed. Look at the benefits we are getting! We get to have the basic text in our pockets. RECOVERY FIRST! WE LIKE TO COMPLICATE OUR LIVES. IF YOU GUYS KNEW HOW TO BUILD AN APP WOULD YOU GUYS HAVE DONE IT FOR FREE????

I work two jobs and have 4 hours of commuting... Great for listening through my Bluetooth while driving to catch up on reading that I feel to tired to do when I get home from work.. Thanks!!

I'm not even sure if this is an officially backed NA app but the audio feature is nice for us literarily challenged people so I'll give it 4 stars. I might give it five stars ibyte if you make an audio It works how and why, just saying.

This is a word for spoken word from the NA book. I really love the fact that I can turn this on and follow along in the book. It does not supply the wordings to go along with the spoken word. Once the words are supplied I'll give it 5 stars.

Audio problem is fixed. It is everything I thought it would be. My last review was that this app was horrid, now I can recommend it. Thanks for the update.

It's supposed to be free but when you go farther than step 3 it wants you to buy but it's supposed to be free so I don't really like it

I think the readings should be made free for those that may not have the money to pay for it when they need it most. Otherwise great app. Love it. 10days clean. Working steps and def upgrading payday.

Tried to download in my phone and it kept telling me to delete apps to free up space but it was indicated that it had enough space and Google play would shut down when i clicked ready

The audio is great. Can't close the app with the return icon have to touch home screen icon to close the app. Don't know what's up with that.

When learned that I needed to pay for the upgrade I was frustrated this book is essential to my daily living a spiritual principle so when I reevaluate I know look at it as service work that will help carry the message to a suffering addict

I bought this app and can't use it. It says content not available for this device. Now I'm out $2.99 on an app I cant use. I'm so irritated about this and I won't recommend it to anyone.

It would be nice if you didn't have to pay to read the full book because I don't have a credit card or debit card to pay for one

I would love to have a bookmark option, to show where you left off, other than that...works great. As far as the comments about paying for the extended version, yes, meetings are free, if you can't afford to pay $3.99 for the convenience of having this on your phone, then don't. Maybe the money goes towards developing new apps, or pays their employees. Point is, they gave you a portion for free, and they didn't have to. The basic text costs money in some places. Buy it or don't, stop knocking the next man.

I'd like to know where my money goes to? I haven't bought it but I like the idea of the app. I was flowing it with my book. Then charging me after step 2? I can read yes but to have the audio halos me focus more on my reading. Why this isn't free I'd like to know what it's going to.

App isnt that good you get the first 10 steps then you pay $3.99 wtf thats greed for ya. Maybe if it was $.99 then it would be worth 4-5 stars but im unistalling this bull$hit. Save yourself some time and dont downlaod it. To the maker of this app either set a real price like $10.99 gets u everything or charge, $.99 for each thing dint be greedy. Also to the people that will say something like was your drugs free. Mine was because i had the connect like THAT. So fuk off

Why is it so pricey to upgrade steps, traditions, & other reading material? It is so much more cost effective to have a literature paper book.

Very helpful in today's world where sitting down to read can be a problem. I still have my written literature but this app is great for on the go

You should know that mis information is on here that's not NA approved . Your just for today reading It's not apart of our literature . And when I open this it's says sober . In NA where refer to our recovery as CLEAN time . Thank you for your time and consideration in correcting this .

I may only have 7 1/2 months clean, but I am eternally grateful to NA. I would also like to know where the money goes, though. Does it go to further the message of recovery? wont download to my phone even though I cleared out apps and have plenty of storage. Audio is messed up cant hear it on my tablet although all my other apps sound is fine,,,feeling like I just got ripped off for 3.99

This app has been a total savior. It has helped me so much. I do a lot of long walks at night and I can listen to this and it's the same as reading the book. It is also helped me get in touch more with my program.

This is the best app out there for NA big book. It has all the steps, audio reading if the book, daily reflections and more. It's great to always have what changed my life at my fingertips.

As I am new to Narcotics Anonymous this helps a lot paired with the 12 step toolkit and my clean time counter it's awesome must have for anyone new to recovery

Basic Text. Pretty good for audio. Wish it kept going. Wish it read everything out loud. Excellent for the blind.

Is the best way I read my book I listen to this audio book while I follow along in my big book too I actually understand it better if I have it read to me while I follow along with the reading.
