Alcoholics Anonymous first published Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions in 1953. Bill W., who along with Dr. Bob S. founded Alcoholics Anonymous in 1935, wrote the book to share 18 years of collective experience within the Fellowship on how A.A. members recover, and how our society functions. This App contains 10 audio tracks from the total 26 tracks that are available in our full app.
Must have Alcoholics Anonymous Recovery App!
If you enjoy this app, please consider rating it.
I think this is a helpful app and do appreciate "most" of it being free, I just wish you didn't have to pay for steps 8 and on. It is very helpful on insight though of you are curious and willing to make an amazing decision for your life.
Very well organized App and easy to use. The only thing missing is the ability to bookmark content and perform searches within the sections. Otherwise, the App is a very well written and makes it easy to study the A.A. fellowship and understand the human steps to cope with alcoholic addiction. To the developer -- keep up the good work.
I paid for your full app only to find that some of the breaks are not in the right breaks. Please fix! It's the least you can do for those who pay!
Makes it simple to carry AA where ever I go. Most people always carry their cell phone. The message is there on your person for those time we are alone.
Free, free, free... but then you have to pay to get all the content. Not against paying. Am against the bait and switch. BTW, "don't risk your sobriety. .. pay $2.99..." IMHO, rigorous chicken spit.
Pls advise how to get out of this app...??! The Escape doesn't do the job and I see no other option. Please enlighten me !
This is a great app.. I still give it 5 even tho only 8 steps are free! But I'll still end up paying for it! #lifesaver #keepdefenseup
I wish it had an exit button so I don't have to force stop every time but other than that thank you.
Early in recovery so this book is invaluable. As it's now on my Note 3 it can go with me everywhere.
I was surprised when I got everything else. I thought I am just getting the 12&12 and traditions. The fact that I can lay back and listen to the steps is so cool.
Excellent reading very enlightening I find it very helpful to the program but when you read the daily reflections it indicates a page from twelve steps and traditions you can't find the page because the pages aren't numbered
When most people get out their smartphone at a meeting it means they are missing the message. But with this AA app you have the Big Book, 12 Steps, and 12 Traditions at your fingertips. The literature is easy to navigate and easy to read. The Big Book app has lots of bells and whistles including the preamble, forwards, serenity prayer, and much more.
wish steps 8-12 were free instead of having to pay for them. otherwise great app
Misleading - you purchase the app only to find that the later steps aren't included and require additional purchase. I find this deceptive and poor practice.
All the extras like the big book and singleness kills the app. I think it would be worth buying if I knew it would all work.
I love having my literature conveniently located in my phone....everywhere I go.
Not free, does not make me joyous that you actually DO charge. I am not happy.
A great book to be had for families to hep them to understand what an evil drug it really is.
A quick and easy way to stay connected to program while you are on the go....
I have a huge issue when I click on something and am told, "Don't risk your sobriety. Buy this...it's only $2.99." Wow! What a way to make money. I know that my sobriety is safe without buying this app. If a person goes to meetings, gets a sponsor and doesn't pick up a drink one day at a time they won't get drunk. Don't threaten people with losing their sobriety to sell your app. That is just so wrong. I won't support it! Uninstalling. I can use a paper BB!
It's advertised as free. Then you have to pay for steps 8-12 and they play to someone's sobriety as a way to sell it. Shameful
Only reason for 4 stars is no search feature.
Great app... Can listen to step while driving or in the bathroom
It works perfectly for me, a sexaholic as well.
Who cares of expense? I don't always have my book on me, but I always seem to have my phone...now I have both.
Very good but no need to download every time
Been needing this for a while and love it
Great inspiration for the alcoholic.
Perfect for my needs can run a meeting from this one app
I have written a number of emails to their support with no response and no fix. As of 09/01/2015 still NO FIX. Do(es) the developer(s) even read these comments. I CAN NOT EXIT THIS APP USING THE RETURN KEY!!!!
This app helps you understand the importance of the 12 steps. I have been able to listen as well as read the things I dont understand over and over.
The app contains a wealth of AA material. I use it almost every day. My only complaint is that it will not close with the back button. The home key has to be used to close it.
Nice app for the 12 and 12, but I can't get out of it once in. Needs an exit program button or to make the back button take me out. It is not free for the whole book, fyi, but reasonably priced.
I was able to read this whole book and understand everything this book has to offer ☺☺if I could have given it a higher rating it would a 20* ...love this app and I shall keep sharing it too
Easy to use no useless extras great app for recovery
Audio files play for steps 1-8. I get a RED "upgrade" next to everything else. I want this to work. Serenity. It locks up, stops working.
The steps could be the reading. The Big Book I have in the other app.
I wish there was an option to prevent the play control panel from appearing on the screen.
App is good sobriety calculator is off by a few days

AA at your fingertips for everyone on the go! Well worth the $2.99 spent. The only thing that I don't like is the voice on the audio. Please consider adding a woman's voice.
