Hide "running in the background" Notification

Unfortunately if you uninstall the app, it will never work again. I uninstalled to show a friend how bad persistent notifications are, then went to reinstall. Now I'm stuck.

You don't need this app. Just hold the notification down and toggle it off. But why would you want to do that anyways? I want to know which apps are running in the background draining my battery!

Solved an issue created by Google. Don't understand why Google constantly try to make unnecessary changes to annoy customers. Already replaced chrome now I am trying to figure out how to replace Android. BTW: Thank you for open source it too.

Thank you so much for this app! My biggest complaint about the Oreo update was the "running in background" notifications. Shame that a 3rd party app is needed to get rid of these issues created by Google themselves. One thing I would like to see added is the ability to select which apps you don't want reporting, rather than just a blanket removal of all apps.

Thabk god for this app for finally removing the most useless and idiotic feature introduced in the new update. A must have if you use a live wallpaper that shows you information that you want to see on your lock screen

Should be able to select which app to block this notification for. For example, you want to have a notification if an app misbehaves. You do not want a notification of apps that are meant to run in the background (like DNS66).
