Registered my GC, everything was fine with that but the next morning I went to use the app at Tim's and right off the hop it said invalid username and I hadn't even entered anything yet. Tried the forgot password 3x but that didn't work either . Called customer service and was told it would take 24-48 hours for them to get back to me. Bunch of BS!!!

Was given a $5 digital gift card thought the app would be great. It won't let me log in with username and password I set up, tried to change my password with forgot password and it says the temp password is invalid. Tried logging in online and still get invalid password. I don't think I seen such a bad app and website.

This app is great, when it actually works. I've had nothing but issues since installing. It either "unfortunately stops" or claims pass code/password is "invalid." Trying to get a hold of customer service over it is a whole other issue. It's a great concept, just wish it would actually work at least 70% of the time.

Received a time card in a b day card and decided to give this app a go...worked ONCE and now keeps saying 'invalid back end response'. Changed passwords too...same thing. So now I cannot use the $25 gift as I loaded the app with card info and destroyed the card. Thanks a lot Tim Hortons. ..you guys totally SUCK

I used to use it all the time to load my card. Barcode scan in drive thru was convenient. Error message EVERY time now that it can't connect to server so i had to go back to using my physical swipe card. Useless app now just using up phone memory. Will uninstall soon.

Why would you pair with the BMO secure code? So now I have to enter 2 passwords to give you money? You should be making it easier to give you money not harder. Take a look at Starbucks guys. That's how you do an app. I'm done being frustrated trying to give you money for mediocre coffee. Going back to Starbucks.

the quality of the app over the last 1w months has suffered. it's way too buggy. data access exceptions and failures to auto reload cards. not using the app any more. also you are limited to the number of cc card changes. hello people cc expire and you need to change them. long time timmies app customer lost.

I have updated my rating after using the app for about a year now. Updates since my original one-star post have made this app very useful. It is nice to see that a retailer and app developer listen to the complaints by customers and make necessary changes. Is the app perfect? No - it still hiccups occasionally, and sometimes it is slow to load (e.g., by comparison to the Starbucks app), but it works pretty well most of the time.

Please hire a real app expert to redo this app. Never in the history of online passwords has the asterisk not been considered a special character. Why does the nickname/username have to be 8 letters long? Why do you need access to contacts and files? Why do I need an address for registration? WAAAAY to much info required. So frustrating!!!

Whoever designed it, he has done very bad job. Feel it more comfortable carrying tim card in my wallet. It took half an hour to create account. Its not any cibc or td bank app. They should make it more user friendly

I hadn't used the app in a while and the other day I decided to check my balance using the app. Everything worked perfect. My balance was there. It was kind of low so I reloaded my card with $25 right from the app. That went perfect. For a while. Update: Locked out of my account. I called customer service. They said they would fix the problem. Well that was a year ago. Now, I re-installed the app. STILL locked out. Tried to create a new account. Nope. Said the card was registered to another account (which a can't access). So a big waste of time and effort. Crap.

This app has been a good app in the past but now all of a sudden in the last week something has happened to the app! Every time I try to access it on my phone it says "invalid back end response" and wont let me into it. I know it is the app because i can still access my account on my laptop just fine! PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM as this app has been quite useful in the past!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Constantly crashes. Can't scan the card. Simply switch to another app. Completely unstable right now. Used to work. 'Unfortunately the app has crashed' No updates for over 6 months. Edit: they're releasing a new app for ordering it looks like. This app has been scrapped

Garbage app that never works. I continuously get the same error message. Easier to use a Visa card to pay than having to go through this nonsense every time I want to buy a coffee. Fix it!

Same issues a year later. Every time I tried to purchase digital Tim card, the app crashes. I tried many times. Same result. That's the most important feature that need to work. Please continue to improve the app. I'm uninstalling the app again. .

This app is honestly a POS. The responsiveness is absolutely horrendous (on a S7), and the password requirements are ridiculous. A special character, upper case, lower case, and number? This is a freaking Tim's card app, not my flipping bank account ffs.

Unable to login or reset my password. About half the Timmy locations don't have barcode readers so get used to reading out your number to the cashier. Very poor execution Tim Hortons.

I regularly reload a Tim card instead of carry change, and would use the app. A few months ago the app no longer worked. It would no longer allow me to reload my Tim card from the app; it would get stuck in a login request loop. Back to using the website. I hope this gets fixed soon.

I have never been so frustrated with an app or website! Both of them don't work! I cannot load money onto card. Won't let me login with info when it is correct! I just made it! What's the point of the card when I have to reload at the store. Might as well bring money.

I like the app. No problems. I would like the app to automatically reload if the current transactions zeros the limit. Then I have to pay in cash the difference. With the Dunkin Doughnuts app, if you go below a certain amount it replenishes even in the middle of a purchase. Fix that and it would get a 5*

Horrible app. Cannot reload card. It asks me for my password twice then redirects me to a visa verification page where I have to enter a password. Then it brings me back to Tim Hortons, asks me to enter my password again, then tells me I have reached the max amount of reload attempts for the day. Totally useless!

How hard is it to make an app that works? Tim Horton's is a multi-billion dollar company, yet it's like they hire someone's nephew who "knows about them computer things" to develop this app. Reloading one's card should not require their password to be entered NINE times. No joke. Nine times to do a reload. It's a joke.

I love the fact that I can merge several Tim's cards and pay with the app. However when I try to load the app with a credit card, it doesn't accept my payment, even though I tried several cards and with correct info. Then it locks me out and I have to call support which are useless. Also its not responding fluidly, something is hogging it up. I hope they will improve this app in the near future. Meanwhile I'm out.

Tried to create an account three times. Each time I finish creating an account the app crashes and wiped all the info. Come on Tim's. With all the money at your disposal you can find someone to create you a stable app. This is the third time in 3 months in have tried to use this app. Same results each time.

Won't let me buy a digital card, the app abruptly stops. I don't see any responses from Tim Hortons app people saying they are going to fix the problems that are happening. Hmm. Interesting.

Installed the app, logged in with a temporary password and as soon as I tried to submit my new password I get "Unable to invoke cipher due to bad padding"..... Ok, I've deleted the App. As an FYI, my Bridgehead coffee app works great :-)

When the app works it's great. Few problems scanning and using. But trying to do manual reloads is painful. It doesn't give me the option for my cvv code until after several attempts to input password both for the app and for verified by visa. Then the field shows up and it takes several more password input attempts before it works. Frustrating to no end. It shouldn't be this difficult to add money to my card. Please do something about this.

Not tried all the features as of now. It would be great if the Tim Card can be made available in an offline mode to make the payments. Also it seems that Tim Hortons locations are not updated. It has taken me to the locations where the store is not even present.

This app has the absolute dumbest password criteria ever. It has a tiny list of stupid symbols that you have to include in your password. I'm never going to remember this.

The app seems to work OK as far as scan to pay, however the support is pathetic. Twice I have tried to contact support and it takes weeks before they finally get back to you and then don't do anything to resolve the issue. The latest issue was to do with auto-reloading. I had it configured to auto-reload off my CC which used to work then just stopped. I contacted support and nothing back. I used my balance up this morning and am now deleting the app. I guess they don't want my money. Their loss.

Forces use of special characters in password, ensuring it will have to be reset each time the app is opened. The app doesn't allow use of the back button, so it has to be force closed through the phone's app manager. Too big a company to have this terrible of an app.

Fails to reload card. Keeps asking for password after going through visa verification. Continues over and over and gets nowhere . App continuously refreshes for no reason at all. Very poor design. Older versions have worked better than this latest one.

Don't waste your time to download this useless app.every time i add a new gift card and enter all the information I don't see the option of saving new card. Few times i have to pay cash even though i have money on the because the app crashed upon checking out. This is the way should be Timmy, your app is not working on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and note 5. If you have challenge with your coffee, make challenge in your app.

Ridiculous password requirement for this kind of app and it wont remember my other cards after balance check. Used to work without an account. Edit: just changed from 2 stars to 1 star. This is May 2016 and the app cannot allow me to add more cards or delete a card. I have this app and still use a physical card. Wtf? I hope this company understands that people receive gift cards as gifts.

Tried to create an auto reload for my new card and it keeps saying "data exception occurred". Crashes multiple times and also turns my screen on full brightness every time I use it. Uninstall.

Can't even login, everytime "Operation failed due to invalid login name." Works fine on the Web page though. Ridiculous.

Restaurants don't have scanners to read the code, I can find restaurants by Google maps. There are never any special offers. This thing is just useless.
