FedLoan Student Loans

Went through the steps for deferment. Said it went through on line. Then I get an email about a direct debit. And they say they won't stop it. I have to stop it at the bank. Which costs... hello, I'm doing deferment for a reason. I am probably more intelligent than whatever idiot I spoke to on the phone about it.

Keeps logging me out every time. Even if it's only for a second or two. Very, very annoying. Also, every one of my other financial apps has fingerprint ID. Why not this one? Pretty much the only thing this app has going for it is I can make payments. That's about it.

I'm really expected to manage my student loans through this awful app. It doesn't keep you logged in and crashes often.

The app does not keep your login info, which is very annoying. It also does not tell you when your due date is. Anywhere. You can basically use it to pay your loan, see when you have paid your loan in the past and change your contact info. That's it. Useless, just use the online site.

This app does not keep my login information, I know my information, however the app would not take it. So I requested the information to be sent BUT what was sent to me was incorrect info! This makes my account inaccessible...even more..crazy

The file upload isn't working online, so while on the phone with fed loans they told me to download this app and take a picture of my document. The "take photo" button doesn't work. Ugh!

It wouldn't even let me log in, saying that my account was unsupported, whatever that means. Garbage app.

Always says connection error. It only worked for one payment and now it won't work. Useless so I deleted it.

This app sucks..i keep having to change my password and than keep getting locked out. I hate this loan company. Fix your app..

Disappointed thought I could manage current and anticipated disbursements. Doesn't save my log in.

Suddenly I can no longer log in to make payments. Not sure why

Can't do much from it, extremely slow. Just use the website unless major improvements are made.

Wish it had finger print scanner capability.

It has the basics covered. You can see your loan details, see your payment history, see recurring payments, and you can make payments. It does Not include the ability to target payments at particular loans and does not let you use fingerprints or two step authentication for added log in security.

I was going to use this app to pay off my loans this month but it doesn't have the function to let me delegate what money goes where. Like... You can pay off the loan, sure. But if I wanted to make another payment to only one specific loan, I can not.

It doesn't allow you to pay amounts to specific loans. Sometimes I want to pay extra. I still have to use the website.

Almost all of the time the app just reads an error that says information or app not available. Worthless.

Good enough to check balance and pay loans with no hassles, all I need.

Makes its easier to make payments, only draw back is it doesn't give an option to save user name and password

Like other users have stated, app only contains very basic functionally. Expect a lot more from such a large institution.

Good enough. Kind of slow. Maybe more features would be nice.

First, without the paperless inbox this will never replace the website. Being able to read messages from the paperless inbox should be the top priority for the developers for the next version. Second, the loan details information in the app shows less info than the loan details on the website. Third, the payment options / features need to include the ability to pay down specific loans. Finally, the app needs a clearly accessible logout button. Every financial app should have an easy way to log out.

I was hoping for something like this for a long time. Thank you for putting this together. If you could add the feature where I could specify how my payment is being divided among multiple loans, it'd be perfect! Again, thank you so much.

It does get the job...pay my bill, see my balance, and few other options, I'm good. Just enough not to worry about hackers...want to hack, pay off my loan, especially the useless grad school bill. Thank you for the app, it is great...

If this is the best IBM could do for application development, they won't be in business much longer. Ability to save user ID and direct payments to specific balances, for a start. Let's get cracking!

Now I don't need to log on to the website to check my balance and make sure payments went through. This has that plus I can see my payment history, upcoming auto payments, loan details, etc.

I appreciate the effort of creating an app to make payments easier. But in all honesty this app is terrible with both design and navigation, to the point that I'd rather use the website. Please look up Android guidelines and fix this mess.

Seriously? You're going to lock me out of my account after three tries? I haven't accessed my student loan info since college. What are you possibly accomplishing by these security measures? I guess I'll put off paying my loan for another month! Terrible app. Can't even recover the password within the app itself without navigating me to a website. Please get somebody under 40 in your app development staff.

Certain functions that are available on a computer are not the same functions that are available on a mobile device. Such as making specific payments and not being able to look at past loans (the running total) the app definitely needs some TLC.

It's not compatible yet with my S6 kept saying not all features available & directed me straight to full website. Hoping it'll work soon.

Some people cannot be pleased. This app gets the job done. It won't play your music or autopilot your car, but if you have realistic expectations, you'll be satisfied with what it does. Pay your bill, see your balance, see payment history, due dates, etc. What more do you need people? Worry about getting out of debt in the first place more so than the user interface of your slave-driving loan holder's mobile app. Only complaint: it's a tad slow on my S7 Active; could be faster.

This sounded like a nice way to stay on top of my loans. the app works fine but is missing specific loan payment options. My loans are on hold with my master's so I'm mainly paying off the unsubsidized ones. Since I can't do that there is no reason to switch from the website to the app.

Was very happy with the app until it suddenly stopped working. Error message said the app could be verified and to uninstall and reinstall. Still would not work. Pretty frustrating

I downloaded this since the paperless inbox doesn't work on the mobile site. The PDFs I download from the paperless inbox on the mobile site aren't able to be opened on my phone. But this app doesn't let you access the paperless inbox.

It may not have the inbox or anything but I do like knowing where I'm at. I usually have to call because I'm on the go and honestly I HATE your customer service people. They are very unprofessional.

FLS needs to lose the account lock feature. please fix the forgot pass word account feature so it will stop locking the account!!!! the temp pass word feature has been broke for quite some time now, and remains broke.

This app is pretty straightforward to me. It let's me make a quick payment when I'm not near my computer. But for the love of god turn off the auto rotate to landscape. It even overrides my phones settings which is set to portrait.
