IBB PRESIDENTIAL FORUM

As the initials of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and much more as his acronym, IBB has acquired the objective status of a social phenomenon. Although he is better known by the programs, expectations and performances of his military regime between 1985 and 1993 as well as by the regime’s consequential aftermath, IBB has in fact been a social force as early as 1966 when the Nigerian Armed Forces first intervened in governance and the country experienced the traumatic confusion of the second coup d’etat of July 1966.
